Eurovision 2011

Greetings, and welcome to the main thread for our 2011 Eurovision Event! For those of you who do not know what Eurovision is, it is a singing contest, of which an artist/group of artists representing each country in Europe compete against one another, in order to win the title of winner for the year, and also, the winners host the contest for the following year (so for example, last year's winners were Germany, so they are hosting this year's Eurovision). This may not appeal to everyone, most likely because either some of you've never heard of the contest, do not like it, or do not belong to any of the nationalities involved, but for the sake of those who are not interested, please do not "flame" or "troll" this forum. The final for the Eurovision Contest takes place on Saturday the 14th of May, and airs on TV at the following times:

12pm EST (America)
1pm CST (America)
3pm PST (America)
8pm WET (Western European Time)/GMT(+0)
9pm CET (Central European Time)/GMT(+1)
11pm EET (Eastern European Time)/GMT(+3)

So, if you wish to meet with anyone in Towns during the Final, and just chat about it, then the GWCI Village (131582) will be where everyone will meet.

Anyways, I have seen my country's performance before and to tell the truth, I think Getter Jaani sucks. Really. They couldn't have chosen a less "look-at-me-I'm-barbie-with-all-my-curls-and-colors-and-dresses-and-dancers-aren't-I-hip-and-cool-or-what" evil Not cool, (wo)man, not cool....

i totes agree about lookng fake> compleat barbie but the song was catchy. ell and nikki shouldnt of won coz she cdnt sing. i think denmark or sweden or georgia shud of won. coz i was still singing em on monday. denmarks (new tommorow) hello boys hello girls your the diamond your the pearls. i was singing that and my best m8 sed it sounded like a perv song
