Introduction

An unknown dimension which houses an abundance of energy is going to soon generate the first fully stable wormhole into itself and will do so on Earth. Multiple evil factions are moving towards ensuring they are the ones to obtain this powerful energy, dubbed Omega Energy. In order to understand, tame and guard the energy inside while also defending those who won't be able to, O.A.S.I.S. (Omega Alliance Synthesizes Intelligent Solutions) formed and began to work towards this goal. Finding several people who's DNA profiles were matches, O.A.S.I.S. subjected them to the dimension and Omega Energy in order to give them the power to fight the coming threat. Forming Zansshu Sentai Koukenger, the group of five are Earth's only hope to keep it and the dimension from falling into the wrong hands.

Rules

Follow Gaia and guild rules.
Do not call hits, avoid every hit with no reasoning, do things your character shouldn't be able to do, or do anything generally falling under god mode/god modding.
More to be added if problems arise.

Finishers
Only two attempts are allowed per page.
To start a finisher, announce it and roll a single 10 sided dice/generate a random number 1-10.
1 is an automatic miss, with some kind of backfire involved.
10 is an automatic hit.
2-9 requires the defender to roll or generate a number 1-10 themselves.
If attack number and defense number are the same, attacker's finisher fails, but doesn't count against their attempts that page.
If defender has a higher number, attacker's finisher fails.
If defender has a lower number, attacker's finisher hits.

Multiple people can link up finishers, their attack being the combined roll of that many people.
In this case, defenders are allowed a single 20 sided dice roll or generating a random number 1-20.
Multiple people can defend if they are attacked at once.
Example:
Three rangers combine their finishers. Black rolls 5, Cyan rolls 10 and Yellow generates a 4. Their combined attack then would be 19.
If the defender rolls/generates anything lower, it would be hit. If it gets a 20, it would be able to (very narrowly) avoid destruction.
Adding a second defender helps this, as they too add to the defense roll and up the ability to survive.

Brief History: He was born in Kyoto japan, moving to America when he was 7. Since then his parents traveled alot, going from country to country and sometimes taking him with them. He learned to go with the flow and live life fully.
Other: Never insult his parents, he will get very angry.

Personality: Takes his duties as a Ranger seriously, however is very kind and loyal to his friends and family. Very moral, would break regulations for them. Has a passion for protecting or helping people. However he can be rash and hardheaded.
Description: While not in his ranger gear or OASIS uniform, Hiro is often seen wearing dressy casual clothing. Occasionally will wear jeans and designer T-Shirts.
Allegiance: Rangers/O.A.S.I.S.
Ranger Alias: Kouken Violet.
Colors: Purple, blue highlights.
Animals: Bat (Purple) Shark (Blue)
Abilities: Ultrasonic hearing. Limited echo location and electroreception.
Personal Weapon: Daggers w/ alternate mode for finisher. Allows him to fly/glide when he channels his OE into them.
History: Became a ranger shortly before the others. He served as an English translator for a Japanese police force before being "recruited" by O.A.S.I.S.

Personality: She is loyal to the core and is very protective of her family and friends. She is the type of person who people go to when they need a shoulder to cry on. However, it is her laid-back, girl-next-door allure that charms everyone. Still she is no pushover. She'll bump heads till she gets her point across. She is very mysterious and keeps to herself most of the time.

Brief History: She is a shy and quiet girl, who was raised by her grandmother. Ever since she was a little girl, she wanted to help people. Even though she was not a big fighter, something told her to take martial arts classes at the local dojo. She knew it would take a lot of training to make her a good fighter, but she was willing to take that challenge. Now, she is doing her best to fight for peace and justice as a Power Ranger.

History: Served as a chief strategist and general for the US army before being asked to come out of early retirement to serve for O.A.S.I.S.

Brief History: Having a normal life, Theus grew up enjoying deconstructing and reconstructing things. Leading him to understand a lot of technology but feeling a bit bored with what he could find, he moved on to inventing. Some time after, he was approached then recruited into the organization. Since then, Theus has become the lead in making new technology for the effort to protect Earth from harm.

Brief History: Before the omega energy was lost, she was the goddess Isis. with the aid of hathorn they sealed the power away from the other Egyptian gods and goddesses to protect mankind from their crazy ambitions. She was presumed dead but lived secretly, helping create O.A.S.I.S. and plans to continue to help the other sentai in their times of need.

Top
Black, long sleeved tunic that has a strap at the top to clasps onto left of jacket. The design is similar to the tunics used in Yugioh GX. Don't know what they're called. Along the front, back, and sleeves there are outlines that match the primary ranger color. Maybe a small insert on the sleeves that have secondary color if need be. On the top of the clasp, there is the emblem of OASIS. At the end of the left sleeve there are two slits where the straps of the Kouken Brace goes through (it fits on the top of the sleeve).
Bottom
Black long pants. Though the females of the group could have simple skirts. The pants could also have simple outlines on the back.
Other
Zipper underneath right side, the side where the strap comes from. Another fastener is at the bottom. Each has a plain undershirt that matches their secondary color. Outlines on tunic/jacket are primary colors. The best example I can give what it looks like are the designs used in Operation Overdrive and little bit from Yugioh GX.

Brief History: They are the most powerful demons in existence and the most diabolical. They will pretty much do anything to get what they want. A long time ago, most of them were sealed away, but two of them escaped the sealing ritual. Now, they want to free their comrades, so they could take over the world.

Personality: He is very confident, almost to the point of being arrogant. He is not outgoing, but he is not reserved either. He is known and feared for his extreme sadism.

Brief History: After their people were sealed away, he became the unofficial leader of the group because of his determination to free their comrades. He likes to go out sometimes but that is only to go on walks in order to think.
Other: Even though he is the same rank as Bertil and Pratt, he is the unofficial leader of the threesome.

Personality: Distant and keeps to himself. Only opens up to people close to him. Mostly calm and it takes a lot to make him angry, but when he does, he is a force not to be messed with. In addition, it is said that his most fearsome trait is his ability to play with the hearts of other people.

Brief History: He is usually the one that gathers information about the humans and the magic that was use to seal their comrades away. He does not go out much, but when he does, he usually keeps to himself and get the supplies that they need. However, he recently decided to apply to the local university for educational purposes and met Kira in one of his classes. There was just something about her that he liked and became obsessed with her.
Other: He has an obsession with Kira and talks with her every chance he gets.

Personality: His is a bit of a trickster, and is very outgoing. He also likes to flirt with the ladies. He also views the world and people in it as his personal toys for use to relieve his constant boredom.

Brief History: After their people were sealed away, he hang out with Aniq and Bertil. However, he wanted to go out and explore the human world. So, he left the group for a period of time. Now that Aniq has become close to finding out how to open the seal, he has returned to help out.
Other: He enjoys psychologically torturing his opponents.

General Description: Lizard like in appearance. Tribes will be in different colors/shades. Nameless/tribeless will be gray.
History: Divided into several main factions known as "tribes" in their language. Not much is known about them. Somewhat warrior like. All seem to be "born" from the source of the Omega Energy. Have somesort of religion revolving around it.
Other: Names of major/villain of the week characters and tribe leaders will be named after Asteroids and terms will probably originate from RL tribal names/terms. Do not seem to have a food source as their bodies are dependent on OE, and thus have to return there periodically. Each have the ability to fire blasts of Sigma Energy, potency is dependent on caster. Some may have other "special abilities.

Description: Dark Blue Manian.
Personality: Very collected and will often not attack others until he has planned everything to the last detail. Dangerous when finally angered. Does not seem to care if his nameless subordinates are killed.
Allegiance: Himself, His tribe.

History: Not much is known about his past. Is leader of one of the main Manian tribes and has been at a stalemate with Amos for sometime.

History: Known for his small, but powerful army. Leader of one of the main Manian tirbes and been in a stalemate with Nebiru

Brief History: One of the willing planets to join the federation, his people happily became drafted into the growing number of ruled worlds. After several classified missions, he was sent to Nagiura's unit for the remainder of his service in the federation.

[Itami]

((To frame things: All our characters will have been approached by OASIS' people and our families made to understand that we're essentially drafted. We've all been taken to an unknown location, exposed to a strange dimension's world and have been at the base since then. The time since this happened can vary a small bit, but we're all very new to everything and it hasn't been a lot of time since. At most a week. ))

*Laying on his bed, excitement coursed through his veins. Today was the day that he would be able to start taking the path to being something more than he was. True, he had already undergone many steps to get to this point, but this was the first real step to him. Moving away from home and leaving his family, going to that strange other worldly place, the pain and recovery of the things that happened from being there. They were all steps that were nothing like what he was to face today. This was the day he would meet the team and their leader, but more importantly it would be the first day he got to test what his ability might be. Unable to make it surface just yet, he knew the soon-to-be training session would likely push whatever his power was out of him.

Unable to take the waiting anymore and having yet another craving for food, the young man got out of bed and walked out of his room. It was his first time leaving the room area since getting there and settling into the room he would be calling home for a while. Passing by multiple people who wore military-looking uniforms that were going on with their workday, he continued on his path and made his way to the cafeteria area. He sat at one of the many empty tables after snagging a handful of candy bars from a local vending machine.

Wrestling the packages open with his fingers, he sat and munched on the various chocolate-coated confections. The room was mostly empty, save for a few random, uniformed individuals who were part of the staff there. Their low murmurs of conversation and eating the only other noise coming from the area at the moment, it wasn't enough to keep the teen from shifting around his seat as he ate.*

Couldn't they have some kind of TV or windows in this room? *Ignoring that some of the people were occasionally looking over in shock or horror from him scarfing candy like an addict that had been held away from the stuff for good reason, or that he was in the cafeteria at a time that most wouldn't be eating, he finished his third candy bar. Immediately, he began scarfing down the unluckiest one to be closest to his reach.*

At least the real excitement should start soon. I can't wait to see who the others in the group are. What if none of them are American though? What if they aren't even human? Alien team mates would be awesome, but then I'd have to worry about them molting skin on my stuff or something. Oh! Maybe... *As his mind raced with tons of possibilities, he began eating the fourth candy bar in his set of six.*

Hiro opened his eyes and looked up his ceiling. He was laying in bed with his legs crossed and his fingers clasped behind his bleached, light brown hair. Hiro turned his head to check the clock on plain nightstand beside his bed. 'Bout time for the meet and greet, huh? he thought in his native tongue. "Yosh," he said finally getting up, "guess its about time to go."

Hiro grabbed his nametag and walked over to his door and put his boots on. As he passed by the base's personal and made his way to the cafeteria, he thought back on how he was recruited and how he was the first to visit the dimension.

((lol I didn't even notice until I was about to post this that my character starts off on his bed like Itami's. xp ))  

[Itami]

*Having just finished devouring his fifth candy bar, the teen had already gotten up from his spot and was heading out another door as Hiro entered the room. Noisily chewing on a Qwix Bar, the young man tossed away a bunch of wrappers from other candy bars that were renamed so as not to be sued.

Heading into the hallway as he continued to crunch on the candy bar, he turned the corner and began to head for a walk around the areas he knew he could go. Just sitting around was going to get to him and he had to keep himself occupied somehow. His mind racing with possibilities on his teammates, the leader of the base, and most of all what he potentially could do now.*  

[Saicosis7]

Ryu Altez walked in the hallway, fallowing its path. He didnt know were it went to but figured it was just as well since he didnt have any plans and was just exploring the compound. He had just left his room after changing into a new shirt. His old one was a bit dirty. He had a normal white t on but over that was a red Hawaiian shirt wich lazily flowed as he walked. "Man this place is big. I wonder were everyone is? I know they said i was to work with a team but i have yet to see anyone else. I hope i wasnt lied to."

Hiro finally found his way into the cafeteria, having walked past by the seemingly random, candy bar eating person on the way in. He looked around, only seeing one other person besides some attendants. Hiro walked over to the food and grabbed a bottle of water, taking a small sip before looking around again. Where is everyone, he thought again. Hiro grabbed a plate and helped himself to a generous serving of BBQ and raw greens.  

[Ayame Ubi]

Shawn sighed as he continued to practice his fighting skill, while waiting for whomever that summoned him to tell him way. His mind replaying events of his childhood, which only feed the fire that burned within him

Ryu slowly arrived at the cafeteria. With a sigh of relief he walked in and instantly spotted the food. He drooled a little and got some of the barbeque and went over to a table. He sat down with Hiro and smiled politely. "Hey there, name's Ryu Altez. How's it hanging?"  

[Itami]

*Long since finishing his last candy bar, the teen continued around the various hallways, looking around and trying to get a feel for the place. As he wandered around, he was lost in thought until he snapped out of his rampant self-question and self-answering to realize he was in an area with no one else around. Unfamiliar to what little he knew of the base, he suddenly understood that he was lost.*

...Errr... This isn't good. *Looking around quickly, he coughed nervously a bit and paced around trying to think of what he should do.* This place needs directions on the wall... or some kind of GPS... this is way too big of a place to not have at least a "you are here" map.

*Stopping his pacing, he quickly looked at the watch on his wrist. Not yet realizing that it had worn down and malfunctioned, he thought he still had plenty of time* Well... at least if I keep wandering around I can find my way again. I got time. *Walking down the hallway and shrugging the worry off, he didn't notice behind him a digital clock which was roughly 20 minutes ahead of his wrist watch and only several minutes from when they were supposed to go to the designated room.

Hiro looked over and noticed someone had sat next to him and was trying to get his attention. "Nice to meet you," he said politely. "I'm Takeda Hiro."  

[Cyniclon Darcy]

Kira was in her room, sitting on a chair near the desk. She was reading a book and was so into it that she did not notice the time. She looked up for a moment after finishing the current chapter and saw that there was only a few minutes until she had to leave in order to go to the designated room. "Oh snap." She that as she bookmarked her place and started to walk the halls.

"its nice to meet you dude. So i take it they brought you here for some reason too eh? Hehe they didnt tell me why i am here only that "the fate of the world is in your hands". Kind of reminds me of a comic book."

Hiro didn't bat an eye, but was mildly surprised that OASIS hadn't told them anything else. "Something like that." he said as he took a large swig from his water bottle. Hiro then happened to looked up at the clock and realized that they were late. "s**t! We're late!" Hiro got up, barely waiting for Ryu, and hurriedly walked to the training area.
