So, I'm Riri. I'm bi, pagan, married, kinky and 3rd gendered.
I'm married to my beautiful Love, Annette- and would kill for their eyelashes.
I'm a switch- but my Dom lives so far away!
I'm in the beginning stages of a relationship with my girlfriend- who is married to her longtime partner.
Everyone in the house, aka The Tree Fort, is poly.
My Aunt and I were talking a year ago or so- mostly about the rebellion of my misspent youth and the conflicts of personality I had with my mama and little brother. She pointed out a lot of my searching and testing was me trying to figure out who I was and to find a family which accepts me for me- see, I'm more my pop's than my mama's- and after he died I was pretty much a stranger in my own family. I've always been poly- but I think wanting a family is what helped build our household- that, and the internet. Everyone in this house knows each other because of the internet- most of us because of Gaia.
So that's the intro and my background.
We're a close knit group. We spend our holidays with each other- even though some of our relatives live less than 10 minutes away.

My Girlfriend's fiancée is dating another girl. I mentioned them earlier- this was part of the whole dumping by text issue. rolleyes They're tentatively back together in a less serious capacity. My latest challenge is between my Dom and his boyfriend and I. I reread my intropost and it doesn't really do my feelings on family justice. sweatdrop Some things were said the other night that have me hurting pretty deeply. I brought that up to the people who said it and instead of talking about it- it was pretty much a "Yeah? Me too." kind of thing and it's left me with serious trust issues. sweatdrop

I'm sorry to hear that, and hope things turn out for the better.
I've always been kind of a black goat on my mom's side of the family, but luckily I have a mother and older cousin who are great and understand me; but lately I've been feeling the void of cutting off contact with a good chunk of them. (Not because I'm poly, but because of other even more ridiculous reasons)
Not trying to take over the page, just wanted to let you know I can understand the wanting to build a family.

Wedding plans are in full swing for my Girlfriend.
There's part of me that's a little amused at the dynamic of the wedding party.
So- the groom's other girlfriend is the maid of honor, the bride's girlfriend is the priestess, one of the "groomsmen" is my beloveded Annette and on the other side of the non-traditional gender stuff my genderfluid dom is a bridesmaid. Their partner is another groomsman. rofl
The best man and one of the bride's maids are the only 2 people not involved in the household. It's so cute.

Annette's father passed away- and there's a lot of mixed feelings about it. See- he and Annette never were really close, and it was pretty clear that while he cared about Annette- he didn't really approve of a lot of Annette's life choices, like marrying someone like me and moving so far away from home.
The man scared me- not that he was really that bad, but that it was really more of an oil and water personality conflict. I worried about Annette- they won't eat.

They got to call their mom and sis and they talked for hours and hours. We're not worried about having to move back in with them to help with the house and Annette is still concerned for mom's well being- but it's not like we're having to figure out where we'll get the money for plane tickets or anything.

And Blackrose, Cold Stone is called for in almost any situation I think, doubly so when there's healing to be done.
