hey guys so we have some more questions we'd like your opinion on, for future monthly art contest : 3
1. Would you like a guild vote to determine the winner? or would you rather continue with the mods voting between our selves to determine the winner should be?
2. Would you guys like a guide for things to look for in your submission to better your odds of winning? Like composition, uses of colours, style, originality and a list of all that jazz? Do you think this would be helpful? or do you think its not necessary?

I think...
1. A mod decision is better. This seems like a weird thing for a non-mod to say, but the problem with a member vote is people are likely to just vote for the most technically skilled picture every time, which would lead to the same couple of people always being chosen. I'd hope a mod decision would be able to make more varied choices, because I don't think a guild like this should be about 'such-and-such is the best at art here'.
2. Rather than a guide of everything that makes art good, I think it might be a nice idea to focus on one particular thing every month -- so one time, you're looking for pictures with excellent use of colour, the next your looking for something that tells a story, the next you're looking for the most original character, and so on. This might make things more varied and interesting. :)

I think that the way it has been is a good way. .) I trust that if mods decide of the winner the voting be more unbiased. :3
I also like hellosara's idea to have different subject(s) in competitions. Would make it more interesting, and i think also help judges to choose the winner .D
