So,
I have been working on a pair of Tangled themed shoes.
I have already received two offers from people who wish to buy them.
But
Am I even allowed to?
I have been doing some research in selling fanart but I am honestly confused over the matter.
I could use the money from selling them
but I don't want to get myself in bad trouble.

So.
what do I do?

I believe there's a rule of thumb that you have to change the artwork 20% to be able to reproduce it. I could be wrong, but I've sold fanart in an artists alley before, and fan recreations of popular characters, if done in your own style, and not the style of the original character is already enough of a change to allow it to be sold. From the looks of it, your flats are already enough your old style to permit them being sold, as they resemble the characters, but they aren't a direct copy.

Personally, I'd be cautious. I've heard that Disney can be particularly Nazi-ish about copyright infringement.

The way I see it, make sure the person knows that this isn't omg official gear and you should be free, since they contacted you, you weren't like "FOR SALE!"
