Dris got something in the mail yesterday.
It was an envelope.
A big envelope.
From a college.
The college.
Needless to say, I'm excited. :]
It's the college I've wanted since 9th grade (What's the average age then, like, 14? I think? I dunno; I was 12). I've already tackled two years at a community college because when I got out of high school, my parents said I was too young to be in a dorm that far away (and they were right), but now I get transfer in the fall and be all adult-ish.
Yeeeaaahhh, still a spazzoid, and it's been 21 hours. Is this normal?

Congrats my dear. I was hyped up right until the day I got to the uni I am in...I had been planning to come here since I was 6 and found out about it (when visiting my aunt ho used to live up here).
Be gleeful while you can...before the evil higher ed workload crushes your spirit ^_~

LUTN: I'm double majoring in psychology and criminal justice to, hopefully, become either a profiler or interrogator. Not sure what I'm minoring in yet. I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head, but haven't settled on one.

I was only somewhat excited when I got accepted to FSU and UF (even though I didn't end up going to either. I went to the one I originally didn't give a s**t about.), but I also hadn't really dreamed of going to a specific college. I mostly just thought FSU would be more my fit and was in a pretty good location.
But I toured another which gave me scholarships and s**t, so hello other school.
But I can imagine it being normal to be happy for a while if you've been really wanting to go there for a while. Congrats.
