-How old does someone have to be to get it?
-What are the risks? (if any)
-How much does it generally cost?
- You usually have to wait until your eyes stop changing, at around 18. You can still get it done, but it might not really work in a couple years.
- My uncle got corrective eye surgery, and the power went out in the middle of his surgery, right before they started on the opposite eye. Besides the freak accidents, If not preformed by a specialist, you can loose your vision. The surgery is quite ricky to put something with your sight on the line.
-The procedure costs between $1,000 and $6,000, depending on where you go and exactly what technique is used. I highly recommend that you avoid the low-cost places. Your vision is not a place to cut corners in order to save money. The higher-priced places typically are much more careful and thorough.
[Cite]I've had contacts for 3 years and they are really comfortable and easy. You can't really wear them when it rains though. At least I have problems with that.
