Anyone going to study/studying/studied art in college? Which school, what major?
My plan is to major in illustration (:
Depending on which school I get into, I'm going to Pratt, SVA, RIT, or SCAD. Still waiting to hear from some of the schools.

I got a Bachelor of Arts, in Graphic Design, at, hold on, Avans hogescholen, AKV | St. Joost, department in 's-Hertogenbosch. xD
Graduated 2,5 years ago.

I did my schooling for 3D animation at "La cite collegiale", I graduated 3 years ago : 3

only 15 XD got another 2 years before i graduate high school and im not even sure what i wanna do with my life 8'D

don't worry once you hit college/university the teachers tend to be better.... not all of them but mostly : 3

i have plans to go study arts, but before that i want to get "proper" profession so i'll go to study engineering, and after finishing that school i'll try to get to art school. smile I was planning to try to go study either "graphic design and illustration" or "game art design" in De Montfort university. :3 And who knows if i don't like the engineering school at all i'll try to get to study arts sooner than in 3½-4 years. hehe

I went for a year to "beauxs arts school" - "Bellas Artes" (after I left my first career)
Is like old school knowledge actually and is the National/Public school here. You get like a low "tittle", less that going to an institute - something totally unfair but hope the situation will change soon.
But left 2 years ago, still planing to go back in order not to lose my "spot" there this year, but haven`t painted anything in 2 years - normal materials like on a canvas.
Is a career of 5 years at painting *w* - but still have to finish my first major O3O - bussiness administration.

Here there is not such at getting a degree studying art- there are just 5 places at all my country where you can study arts, besides that is not like you are getting a degree or anything more staying here.

Savannah college of art and design in Atlanta GA for Interactive Design and Game development. (long-a** major lol) Minor in concept art.
I'm in my second quarter; 1st year.

I have like... no formal training. I'd like to have some at some point, but Im not honestly all that confident that I could get job degree or not. And definitely not in an art field I'd enjoy.

i want to go to skl for art but performing arts like acting or i want to go for writing like song writing

I have a degree in Graphic Design in 96' from Al Collins Graphic Design School in Tempe, Arizona. Even though I learned a bit, there were some things I wished I learned more about at the time.
Right now, I'm taking up Computer Graphics here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I love the courses and the instructors here. Thank god I didn't go to the Art Institute in Henderson. At some point, I would love to attend SCAD down the road.
