I want to roleplay, but... [A]

I really want to roleplay, but I never really have before. Not in a public forum, anyway. Is there anywhere I can start in the RP forums? Anywhere for newbies? I was browsing, but didn't see one. I don't want to bring any RP posts down or get kicked out because I suck or anything >.<

the forums are a big mix, so you just have to look around for one that looks about your skill level. the rp's marked "lit" or "adv. lit" require a lot of detailed writing, so i would stay back from those until you are confident enough.

Have you tried browsing the RP guilds? If not, I'd definitely suggest looking through those! Gaia has tons of active RP guilds, & you should be able to find one that interests you that is also accepting of "newbies" & people who are trying to improve their Roleplaying skills. I think you'll have much better luck with RP guilds than the regular forums.
