3D character animation. That is, if you're making it. :O
I'm studying 3D in school with mostly focus on animation, modelling and concept art for now. I want to get into rigging too.

Profiles and drawing males. I have some problems with drawing both unless I have a referance, and I don't really have a referance all that often.

I don't have any 3D animation tutorials but I'd be more than happy to cretique your work if ever you want a second opinion on it. I could also recommend a few 3D tutorial sites. They requier you to pay but some are worth it, and if your a student you'd get a reduced price. I'm not sure which 3D program your using but if your using Max you could try, http://cgcookie.com/max/category/tutorials/ For Maya, this is one of my favorite sites. They do have a couple 3ds max tutorials as well but there primairaly maya oriented. http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/category/167/Free-Maya-Tutorials If ever you could get a *cough* hacked*cough* version of Gnoms rigging tutorials there very well done. Acctually there probably among some of the best I've come accross so far.

Uta Sumire Profiles and drawing males. I have some problems with drawing both unless I have a referance, and I don't really have a referance all that often. Ok well for that you might want to check out some of the references D-4mation posted here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=21072177Theres several tutorials that might be able to help you even some that are based on learning to draw characters with out a model. So maybe that could help. If not your also always free to post your images here in the guild or to me directly to ask for some cretiques and we'll all try to help the most as possible : 3

It's kind of hard to keep things uniform of what little I know xp

I was thinking more like with oil paint, like when you are making lighting effects, you blend in white to show light to the darker paint and vice versa (but not so much the smudge tool or burn tool). It's also more of how to soften the contrast to colors from each other (like a gradient makes that transition into the other color, that's the effect I'm looking for).
