Note: have the same thread in picture post. XD Quote: haha... so yeah, the title says it all.. i never post traditional arts here.. but i figured trying it.. am absolutely not good with traditional arts.. it sooo much harder then digital arts.. here's the story: yesterday, i went to this seminar with the theme: Anti-hazing Law and Code of Student Discipline! it was pretty interesting at first but i got bored eventually since the speaker repeated his words over and over again.. so i figured drawing at the back of my notebook.. haha.. i didn't wanna draw on the paper coz it has lines.. ^_^.. since it was out of boredom.. i only used a black ballpen.. not good eh? so here it is:  feel free to comment.. but please no harsh ones.. i know its not really good.. especially the hair.. LOL.. it got messed up.. sweatdrop

i think i like her hair the best. xD Also i find the thicker outlines very nice in this. :3

xd I used to doodle all the time during my Art/Design History lectures xd
I like the angle and style, it's way better than all the doodles I used to do

EshaEsha i wish i could draw like that xd gonk its very cute thank you very much! i didn't know trying to post my traditional art would be liked by other people.. sweatdrop am not confident enough..

demon blurry eyes xd I used to doodle all the time during my Art/Design History lectures xd I like the angle and style, it's way better than all the doodles I used to do hehe.. i thought i i didn't draw her well in that angle.. someone said she had a weird chest and stomach.. i was like the angle/view is from above.. so she said... ooohh.. ok.. hehe.. anyway.. thank you very much.. i think i should try posting my doodles more for critiques and comments.. 4laugh

I love how you contured her body with a darker line >: D really brings her silouette out from the rest of the drawing ^^ good thinking!!! I really like how you tried exploring a new perspective aswell... its not easy drawing perspective like that so brownie points to you : D !!!! The hair is not that bad as you made it sound XD lol... I think you might wanna consider playing around with curves in her hair in the future though, because she's under water her hair will most likely move in a wave like patern ; ) just a little suggestion for future under water mermaids. But other than that its a nice sketch : D really like it! good job : )
