Current bets!
Topic 1:
"If Kojiro murders Kyumi how long will it take for him to be caught?."
Mongooseh has bet 5k that: "He will be caught within a week."
Plainsfox has bet 5k that: "Kojiro will not be caught."
Raganui has bet 5k that: "I'll say he's caught in 5 days."
Due to conflicting interests in this bet if he is caught within 5 days the winnings will be split between Mongooseh and Raganui due to that Mongooseh had bet that he would be caught within the same time span as Raganui's bet.
The cut off date for this bet is when Kojiro performs the dastardly act.
Topic 2:
"Order of places in the Iaijustu duels!"
Mongooseh has bet 5k that: "Winner: Zanzen Finalist runner up: Kojiro Semi finalist: Seichiro Semi finalist: Denbe"
Plainsfox has bet 5k that: "Winner: Kojiro Finalist runner up: Zanzen Semi finalist1: Denbe Semi finalist2: Kenichi "
This is to say if neither happens no one loses or wins the pool of gold!
Cut off date for this is when the Iaijustu duels begin!
FREEBEE BET!:
This will pay out 500 gold to whoever bets correctly and is free to enter! These will happen about once a week. Update: Plainsfox will be the benefactor of this bet and is willing to pay 10k to whoever wins it!
Topic: "Who, out of the PC's, will win events on the 5th day?"
Mongooseh has confidently entered Kagae!
Plainsfox has confidently entered Kojiro!
Agent Sinistra has confidently entered Seichiro?
Due to that there may be multiple winners the winnings will be split between the competitors!

Rules!:
1: Remember this is all in good fun! Do not take part in the serious bets if you do not wish to pay out. There will be freebee bets to take part in which will pay out small amounts of gold from my personal pocket!
2: If someone makes a bet and you wish to bet on the same subject please make an equal counter bet with the same odds! An example of this was when me and Plainsfox were betting on the order of the Iaijutsu duels winners. I had betted which order people would come in and he betted against that. Now he had alot in his favour there in that only one thing of mine had to be wrong for him to win! So I asked him to make a similar bet to mine!
3: Freebee bets are low payout but free to join and give people even more reason to pay extreme attention to this fantastic RP so to join you just need to mark you post with something like "Freebee bet" after a freebee bet has been offered up to join.
4: You cannot bet against your own character! This although we're sure you're honest people this is just to safe house we do not get any people dropping for golds sake.
5: There are no more rules until I or anyone else can think of any!

Is it an entire set that is being bet upon? Yes you need all three of what you have betted to win. As you have said if the results were: Zanzen, Hogai and Seichiro I would lose.

Personally, I think you guys should bet on each ranking.
Though to be fair, the Iaijutsu will be a single elimination eight-man tournament, so I think a fairer assessment would be the winner, the semifinalist, and MAYBE the two quarterfinalists if you were feeling froggy.
