I really like them. heart I really should learn to use Sai, the things you can do with it look really great. Were did you learn to use that programe? at school or were you self taught?
The second drawings you did is that done with colouring crayons, or was that done on the same program again??

Kai_Chi I really like them. heart I really should learn to use Sai, the things you can do with it look really great. Were did you learn to use that programe? at school or were you self taught? The second drawings you did is that done with colouring crayons, or was that done on the same program again?? Actually only the first one is sai. -points to siggy- I'm actually a photoshop person, but am finding that sai is a lot easier to use but a little more limiting in some senses. Needless to say is I do want to buy it when I get my own computer back. The second one is a sketch that I half colored in photoshop...but it didn't turn out too well. I want to finish it more when I figure out how people can make sketches so cool. As for the teaching thing, it's really more self-taught. I did take art class but most of that was traditional, so I endlessly studied tutorials and ogled other people's amazing works for hours on end to see how to make my own better. I wish I knew the magic secret to make amazing art without trying but the only solution seems to be practice makes perfect lol. ///blahblahblahI'llshutupnowlmao @Rafael Thanks very much <33.

@kiteyu: Ohhh I see well I think you did a really good job for someone who's more of a photoshop person. : ) I'm more of a photoshop person as well. I wanted to try corel painter or sai cause I liked the look it gave it was more traditional looking then photoshop. But I never really had the patience to go threw all the tutorials XD So I admire your strength for being self taught part... I don't know if I'd be able to do things like that with out an instructor beside me. I get to impatient when I know I want a specifique tool like smudge or something, and can't find it... it irritates me to much that I end up abandoning the programe, which is probably not the best thing for me to do, cause then I never learn it XD

Thanks Hattery > w<. She's my OC Everin. I need to finish it though ;-;
@ Kai Thanks very much. The programs are pretty much the same with few differences with the way the programs handle the brushes. Like photoshop brushes have a harder time blending so you really have to use custom brushes and constantly change the opacities to really get a more painterly look. With Sai since it's strictly a painting program it's a lot easier to blend colors and I find it's drawing tools a lot easier to use. I guess it's just getting used to the different settings that bother me the most. I like the editing tools of photoshop a lot. It's a lot easier to balance the colors and doing quick enhancements XDD.

Yeah it's just a trial. And sure do. It's like a 31 day trial and if you buy it it's only about 40$ <3. I also wanted to try painter. I heard that was pretty awesome also. It's also...very expensive. XDD

well I don't know were you live right now, but I'm in canada, and on there canadien web site they have a discount right now, its 200 dollars instead of 300 right now for corel painter 11 : D !!!!
I can tell you first hand that the brush are indeed traditional brushs, and they even move in the same direction as it would in real life. Like if you were to take a paint brush and stroke paint on the side of the brush on your canvas it gives you the same look and feel in painter. What I especially love about it is how it blends colours in the same way it would in real life. It really is beautiful : D

Lol your already a photoshop master. i don't see why you need to master anything else. I adore the waves of her hair. They were painted so deliciously <3. I adore underwater scenes. They're so difficult but when done well they're amazing. (A couple failed attempts myself XDD)
fuu now needs to go draw some more to validate myself lmao
