I imagine that all of us in this guild really liked all 3 books.
But if you had to choose which of the 3 you liked best of all, which would it be?
Personally I would say the fist one, the Hunger Games. Then it was a little downhill with Catching Fire, and moreso with Mockingjay.
Not that Catching Fire and Mockingjay weren't great. They were AWESOME. Just... slightly less awesome than the Hunger Games. Still WAY better than a lot of the other series out there.

I think the first was was the best of the three. I mean, Im a fool for action and intensity, and there is no doubt hunger games was both those things. The Arena was so well thought out and Cato's death really got me going. Anyway, I think the best book is Book One: The Hunger Games.

Lemme just say that I love the series as a new member of this guild. I do think that the last book was a HUGE disappointment and I didn't like it nearly as much as the first two. Personally, I think that the Hunger Games could have been fine just as one book... Fortunately, she wrote the second book well, but my vote definitely has to go to... *Drum Roll* Hunger Games book #1

I'd have to say either The Hunger Games or Catching Fire, my least favorite was Mockingjay and that might just be because of the ending, which dissappointed me >.<

The first book was my favorite of the three. It's not that the Hunger Games in Catching Fire was less exciting.
But the experience of the first book, experiencing the thrills and fears Katniss initially goes through, it's different.
Catching Fire made me laugh more though lol

-"You're so...pure Katniss!"
-the pregnancy thing xDDDD
And...Mockingjay. Oy.

I would def say The Hunger Games. Mockingjay was really depressing in the end, besides the whole thing with Peeta and with the flowers he planted, etc.. So def. The Hunger Games, it is where the fire started to spread.

I liked Catching Fire better than Hunger Games. It was a sequel that surpassed the original novel. I think all the arena parts in the first two books made the series because I found Mocking Jay to be a little less fun to read. The whole series was great though! The best I've ever read even! I can't wait for the movies! Hope they don't ruin them sad

The Hunger Games was definitely the best book! Catching Fire was okay, but not as good and I got so bored with Mockingjay that I didn't finish it.

To me it's either The Hunger Games or Catching Fire. It's not that Mockingjay was bad but it was sad in the ending.
The Hunger Games was awesome. It's like an introduction to all the books.

I agree i mean it was just like Spoiler in white ok your in 13 train mission train some more yadda yadda go to capitol boom boom boom people dead including prim crying but gale, katniss, and peeta yadda gale stays in 2 and peeta and katniss are together THE END END OF FRIGGEN STORY I HATE SERIES LIKE THAT!!!!

It pissed me off too, especially seeing as she felt little to no remorse that Gale had left and I doubt he would have left anyway. Stupid. I hated how the pods were WAAAY to convenient, to make it more like the games. Plus the way characters were killed off (particularly Finnick) seemed like it didn't really matter. Plus after Finnick died, his insane love interest seemed totally normal. It annoyed me.

The first one was my favorite. Especially part 2 of the book and part 3. Catching Fire was really good too. Mockingjay felt a little too rushed towards the end of the book. It felt like the author started just killing off every character she could and made the deaths not seem that critical. Especially Finnick's death. Though Mockingjay did have some really good plot twist.

i personally loved mockingjay.
y`all probably think i`m crazy. :p i know.
but idk... it`s just... there`s something about that book that made me like it more than the first two. O: idk. mockingjay<3
