For the past year, everyone has been saying the world is going to end b/c of a meteor others say cuz of Global warming. What do you think?

I don't see an expiration date. And even if it does, isn't that just more clause to live better? Have more fun. Enjoy every moment.

The world won't end. "End" is a vague way to describe it. I think the world will continue to decay the way it has under pollution.

I'd say there's a pretty good chance modern civilization is on its way out. The more we expand, the more precarious this entity is, especially when its expansion is dependent on already precarious foundations (like oil). Our synthetic world might end, but the real one is pretty resilient.
In any case I'm stoked on the notion of this civilization ending. Like, really. I've had about enough of it, and so has the planet.

Maybe the world as we know it might end, but the planet itself will remain. Maybe it's a chance to start new, start the right way, and change our bad habits. A chance...to rebuild ourselves.

Global warming is a naturally occuring process. We know the Earth goes through periods of warming and cooling naturally (the ice ages are evidence of this).
What scientists can not tell is whether or not human activites are increasing the rate at which the Earth is warming. There is just not enough evidence yet and by the time they get enough evidence it will probably be too late to do anything. xp
