ɪηтʀσɗυcтɪση

Balamb Garden, a school mainly comprised of orphans with hopes in becoming a SeeD. Strangely enough the fifteen sorceresses known in previous times have vanished along with any trace or idea of the Sorceress Power (a.k.a. Witch Embodiment). Thus, the existence of Sorceresses in the world became merely a piece of history. The control over magic became slightly more open, and people were able to use magic a bit more freely, though perhaps not to the extent a Sorceress would've had. Well, it wasn't that Sorceresses were non-existent now, more so, they were rare in today's world. With that being said, there are many counterfeit Sorceresses causing trouble in the world. Just because they excelled just a bit greater than everyone else in this new world of magic, they trick others to believe that they are a Sorceress. The heavy corruption calls for the SeeD to become stronger to defend and destroy these lies. With the so called idea that Sorceress still exist in the world, we may agree that the idea of a Sorceress' Knight was still present as well. Since the world's magic has open, it seems that there is a downside to it all as well, those who were capable of magic once are no longer able. So would they be a hindrance or even capable of becoming a SeeD member? As well as would true Sorceresses and Sorceress' Knights be needed anymore in this changing world?

xxxxxxxxxxxwas sent there). her powers as a sorceress closely resembles that of edea's and ultemecia's. but, as a true
xxxxxxxxxxxsorceress no one is to know such information, it's confidential, not even a soul knows her real name as
xxxxxxxxxxxisolde.

xxxxxxxxxxxthough, that should be enough to make him a seed member right? hopefully it is.

Abel stared between the two, Elisabeth and Liam.
"Alright you two, listen up for once, this is the field test for you two to graduate for once and become a SeeD," cool-appearing man spoke to them almost sarcastically. Abel's been instructing for four years now and he's been teaching these two for three years. Anyone would want to get rid of them by now, plus they only had a year left to even be able to try becoming a SeeD.
"Background information: a small group is beginning to form in Dollet, so it's our duty to eliminate them before it gets too big. Their headquarters is said to be the Dollet Communications Tower, so we'll be heading there first. It has also been rumoured that one of the leaders of this group is a Sorceress, so for precautions and to accommodate our minimal team, a SeeD rank A will be working with us," Abel explained quickly as they exited the vehicle that brought them to Dollet.

"Abel, you're late," a female who was waiting at Town Square for them. She was wearing a SeeD uniform, so it there was some guess that she was the SeeD rank A that would be accompanying them, despite her being a female and all...

"Liam, Elisabeth, this is Isa," Abel introduced apathetically. "With introductions aside, we'll progress to the Communications Tower."

"Don't eff up Liam," Beth taunted, shining her rapier one last time. Then she added quickly, "Hey, Isa. Just call me Beth."

Liam stared at Isa. She seemed very familiar, but nodded in acknowledgment. He mimicked Beth, drawing his sword out. Unlike Beth, he could use some form of magic, although it was unstable. He had a better chance than Beth.
"Oh shut up. You're all talk. When I'm wearing my SeeD uniform, I'll laugh in your face," Liam returned the taunt.

"Shut up you two!" Abel growled angrily. "We're now entering enemy territory." Abel hustled the little group behind a mass of rocks, well hidden.
"Alright, here's how it's gonna work, so listen carefully," he told them sternly. "We'll be splitting in two groups, Isa will be with Liam and Elisabeth with me. That's the only possible formation 'cause if your magic gets out of control, Isa will be better at restraining it than me." Abel stood again, his foot brushing away the plans he drew out. "See you two on the top, let's go Elisabeth."

"Well I guess you'll be stuck with me then," Isa quietly sighed as Abel rushed off. "So we got the right side of the building, which contains mostly the magic users of this group." She added further details to assure that Abel's team planning had a purpose. They headed into the Communications Tower as well, except going the opposite direction than Abel and Beth. It was quite quiet most of the way, apart from some occasional monsters for both sides.

Beth followed Abel. Secretly, she had a huge crush on him, but she felt inadequate if she was not a SeeD member. She also knew that perhaps it would be difficult for her if she didn't know magic.
"Abel," she called as she followed him, "Do you have to know magic to be a SeeD?"

Liam was getting riled up as they made their way to the communication tower. He could feel the sparks in him beginning to burn, trying to ignite.
"What did Abel mean that you can control me?" Liam suddenly though.

Instead of answering Elisabeth, Abel drew his gunblade speeding past her, destroying a monster with ease.
"Keep your mind on the task at hand!" Abel scolded as he sheathed his gunblade, it was easier to run about when it wasn't out. Despite ignoring her question, he felt the need to answer it anyways.
"There is currently no SeeD who cannot use magic," he said merely. It wasn't really an answer, but it was good enough.

"Ummm, from the information Abel's told me, you've got the capability to use magic, but it's very unstable right?" Isa responded as they headed up the stairs, strangely their root was very empty. Well, it is a small group anyways.
"So, since it is unstable, if it was to get out of hand, like a sudden outburst or something like that, then I'll be able to control it for you. I'm sure that's happened before right?" She continued on talking as they reached the next floor.

Beth opened her mouth to retort, but shut it again. She instead turned her attention to her surroundings. She spotted a child. What was he doing? He was suppose to be evacuated. Beth couldn't ignore the child and quick as a flash, sneaked away from Abel. She quickly found the boy and picked him up, hugging him around his middle, running before Abel noticed.
"Hey you. What you doing still here?" Beth said sternly.
"R-Rover! I-I can't find h-him!" the boy sobbed in between hiccups, "I can't l-lea-ve him here!"
"Okay, okay. We'll go find Rover," Beth replied soothing him.

Liam didn't answer. It was true. He had exploded one too many times. He almost had killed Beth if Abel was not overseeing their training session. Liam felt like he was a bomb, just ticking away until detonation. The tip his sword flicked as he slashed away at some more monsters.

Abel swore under his breath as he realized that Elisabeth had disappeared. He took out the remaining people on the floor before heading out to seek out where that total fool ran off to. As if he had a radar on him, Abel quickly found her with a little boy and got even more angry.
"Elisabeth! What in the world do you think your doing?!" He growled quite pissed off. "What did I say about sticking to the darn mission??!!"

Isa could just feel it in the air, Abel's story about Liam was quite right, he really couldn't control magic properly. The cases previously of him exploding were minor and not harmful to those around him, but it was growing and eventually he should learn how to control it himself. Judging from how he sometimes released it as he battled, Isa assumed he was merely unfocused. The right-side pair reached the top of the tower first before the other side. As awkward as it may have been, the two of them were crammed closely listening to the leaders chat for a moment.
"I don't think we'll need to wait for Abel and Beth," Isa whispered quietly, almost like regular breathing, into his ear.

Beth narrowed rolled her eyes when she heard Abel's voice. He was always on her case.
"Because, we're suppose to evacuate civilians too, aren't we?" she retorted, still holding the boy, "We're just finding his dog and then going."

With a streak of fire, Liam stayed by Isa's side.
"Yeah. Let's go," he agreed, adrenaline pumping through his veins.
