A boy enters a strange antiques shop, looking for a gift for his girlfriend. He finds one, an amulet the store owner says it'll bring good fortune for all of those who wear it. Confident in his choice, he buys it and gives it to his girlfriend. However, things don't go out as planned when he starts noticing changes in her behavior: She's staying out late at night, she's more aggressive, and sleeping in during the day: She's changing into a strange hybrid creature eventually taking on the shape of an animal.

When the boy goes to find a solution he finds the antiques shop has closed and the owner's no where to be seen. Now the boy has two problems: To find a cure for her mysterious transformation, and trying to contain the animal she has become...

Bio: Kyle wasnt ever part of a wealthy family but shortly before graduating High School he met a wonderful girl that made him feel richer than anything before that. He and her have love each other and moved in together at the college that they both ended up going to. It was less expensive on him this way and allowed him and her to be close as they worked through their studies to better their lives

Personality: Gwen is usually very happy and charismatic. She gets into a lot of trouble by accident, is a clown and a joker, and likes to make people laugh. Though she's hardly ever mad and is always there for anyone who needs it, Gwendolyn can get furious if you betray her trust.
Bio: Gwendolyn grew up in a little town in Ireland. She was the clown, she was always the joker, everybody loved her for her sense of humor and her happiness. Though her father was dead and her mother took drugs, she was known for her ability to help anyone - literally, anyone - through times of need. Now, her family moved to the States, her mom has stopped drugs and is getting her life straight again. They thought that their life would restart here. And it did, in a way. Gwen got settled easily enough and made lots of new friends. She found a guy that she loved and that loved her back. She moved in with him and is in the middle of university, graduating to become a surgeon. Everything seems perfect.. or does it? -dun dun dunn-

Kyle enjoyed his time with Gwen but for now he would have to bare with it and focus on his classes, he was studying several programming classes so that he could make computer software but of course this made his workload larger than most others. He cursed himself slightly for this but he knew the end result would be best for him and Gwen since she was studying to be a surgeon, and he only guessed it was to ensure they both had a better future together.

His current class would be a bit longer and then he had to go find her something. Sure she never asked for anything from him and always seemed happy around him but he still felt that she should get occasional gifts.

After class got out Kyle quickly packed his things and went walking into the more commercial area of town, wondering if he could find something. He had to find something he repeatedly told himself in his own head as he walked. He wasnt good with dates but after the years of Gwen beating it into his head he finally remembered her birthday. Sadly it was not enough to simply remember it this year, for him he had to find something that would make up for missing all the previous years

As Kyle was out in town he looked in windows of shops and even went inside some, of course nothing seemed to stick out to him in any of them. He would simply leave with a small sigh and continue onto the next store. This repeated over and over until he came across a very unique looking shop. When he looked into the window his eyes fell upon a beautiful necklace that seemed to almost jump out from the rest of the antique items. Kyle walked inside and asked for the necklace, finding it was decent price he quickly bought it, then began towards home.

When Kyle reached the apartment he saw Gwen waiting for him and he had to quickly hide the necklace. He smiled a bit "Sorry, I had to make a detour on my way home ... forget your key again?"

Kyle nodded and drooped his head when she ruffled his hair "Ya ... I think I will do that for you after we change the locks .. again" He tried not to sound too annoyed that this was the fourth time they had had to change the locks. Though even with her flaws Kyle was still truly in love with Gwen.

He opened the door and let her enter first before going inside as well. He looked around and then smiled more "Gwen ... I have something for you" He said as he reached his hand into his pocket, slowly withdrawing the necklace "Happy birthday"

Kyle returned the kiss and smiled a bit "It was nothing ... though it did take me four years of getting my head knocked around to remember" he said softly and then shifted around her in order to set his bag on the couch. The apartment wasnt much but it was cozy, to say the least. A small one bedroom with barely a kitchen and living room. He turned to look at Gwen again as he leaned against the back of the couch they used to divide the living room and kitchen "So how was your day?"

Kyle smiled when he heard her say this and then stood up again "That is good to hear, I had study hall again" he said and rubbed the back of his head a bit embarrassed about it "I really need to stop dosing off in class"

Kyle looked at her and gave a bit of a pout "hey if you werent always so active at night" He teased back, knowing they were both to blame for his lack of sleep, but truly he didnt want to stop. He leaned in and kissed her lips "But either way I will just try to focus more"
