I'm glad that you picked up on it. I plan on doing that before every gym battle, and I might do it for some trainer battles. I quite haven't figured out yet where I want to go with Mr. Referee. Also, I am going to try my hardest to be atleast half way done with the Johto saga before christmas, that way I can spend some time with the family. But up until then, I'll try to do 2 chapters, if not 1 big chapter a day.

Actually, Bobbeh is in reference to King of the Hill.
Nose-bleeds are common in ecchi anime (or anytime the creator likes to point out that a certain character is having a perverted moment)
and Barrel Roll is in reference to Star Fox, which is a quite popular meme, along with don't taze me bro.
