Story In a kingdom ruled by a tyrannical lord named Yohan, existed two knights who skills were unparalleled in that time and age. Valeria, The everlasting Blaze, and Ladius, The Heroic Avenger serve under their lord as Majors of the war, but Ladius soon notices that the campaigns they are forced to run seem to only hurt the civillans of their land, disguised as rebellions to quiet the suppression of their lord. After one tragic campaign, Ladius had enough of serving a demented king and tries to convince Valeria to leave with him, Will she join him, or will she fight him to the bitter end?[b]Character's First Name:[/b]

Background: A noble at birth, Ladius had always followed under his lord and head of the household with no weakness or feign of heart in his actions... no fear. Well, until he started getting to know the people of his nation. Then he started to grow a conscience and a heart for his country as he watched them fight poverty and the scars of war that so ravaged their homes. Character's First Name: Valeria Swift Age: 20 Gender: Female Skills/ Abilities: Sword and Chain Whip Fighting, Elements, Foreign Langueges and secretly, Theft Skills and Street Fighting. 2 Elements: Fire and Earth Portrait of yourself:  Weapon you Possess: 2 Swords, Chain Whip Background: Most people are vaguely told that Valeria is the b*****d daughter of one of her lord's cousins. Because it is shameful to discuss, it isn't a story that needs to come up much and is therefore purposefully used as the backstory. The truth is a little more complex. She had once been a street child named simply Val and had been quite a gifted thief. At one point, she had tried to rob one of her lord's elite and was caught in the act. Her lord however, realized her potential and chose to spare her punishment and train her as a knight for his service instead. Extra: Because of experiances as a child, Valeria has an intense fears of thunder/lightning and has a hard time truly trusting people. While she has long thought what her lord was doing is wrong, Valeria feels as though she owes him for all he's done for her. Ladius Bernhardt It was the break of dawn and Ladius was making his rounds early today, he was always one to be early for anything, ready for the worst case scenario. Things had been really bothering Ladius as of late, these random rebellions.... The king's army mixed in with the rebel forces.... and the damage afterward to the villages. No, he couldn't have doubt in his lord, but what if he really was.... He would have to find out tonight, in the cloak of the night. For now, he would make sure the kingdom was sound and safe, just like always...

As with most mornings, Valeria was in the habit of waking up early and training herself. While yes, she was a pretty good fighter as it was and there might be quite a bit of fighting ahead, Valeria felt the training kept her at her edge and at her best. It also helped clear her mind.
She didn't necessarily agree with everything they did- actually, she was well aware that it could have been her on the other side. But Valeria had long come to believe that such ideals were impossible, so as she finished her training, she once again put it to the back of her mind. She had rounds to make, after all.

Ladius Bernhardt As he began to get lost in his thoughts further, he rounded a corner very sharply as he bumped into someone and gently caught onto them as they fell backwards. As his vision corrected itself, he could see that it was Valeria in front of him. Standing her up on her own two feet, Ladius began to walk off without saying a word as he was too embarrassed by his loss of concentration... Things were just too hectic right now to make heads or tails of anything...
"Sorry, Val. I'm not feeling so hot today... Kinda out of it, but I'll keep up with my rounds."

She felt... odd when he caught her- Valeria wasn't used to being so close to other people and wasn't sure how comfortable she felt with it. Regardless, he moved away quickly enough. She gave Ladius a look over and frowned. If he wasn't feeling well, things could get complicated. She moved in pace next to him.
"If you aren't feeling like yourself, we can finish the rounds together. In what ways do you feel bad?" She asked. Valeria couldn't help but worry about him.
