Just curious

Do any of you feel like something bad is about to happen? I feel like something huge is going to happen soon. Not to me in particular but in general.

I have that feeling too.
I have for awhile.

I could probably go into details but I'd rather not risk being a false prophet.

I just ignore them.

If God only knows when the end is then we shouldn't have the feelings I'm guessing...
So I'm thinking it's the Devil trying to trick us.

Well I've been in great spiritual wars recently involving others. But now I hit a calm. I'm not worried about the end in fact I look forward to it. I'm not even worried about this feeling really because I know I'm being led and I'm protected. I just still have that feeling we definetly need to keep our guard up. Which I know we're supposed to anyways. But alas I feel my defenses need to be brought back up. I think I was given this recent peace to prepare again. (Mind you I'm always at peace with God but demons do know me by name)

And to be clear I don't fear demons. I only fear God.

Why are we suppose to be afraid of someone who is suppose to love us?
I have never understood that.

psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

Perhaps you don't understand because you've never feared Him? Why would you take up the cross without realizing the complete destruction you face without it? How could one truely understand His true grace without knowing His wrath that is to come without it? I converted out of a true fear. I was going to hell before He rescued me. I had a death experiance as an atheist and came out a Christian.

Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Just because we are forgiven doesn't mean we won't be punished.

Proverbs 13:24
He who spareth the rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him correcteth him betimes.

Proverbs 23:13-14
Withhold not correction from a child: for if thou strike him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and deliver his soul from hell.

Just as a loving father will punish his child.

Trust in the Lord, and listen to what He has to say. The Acts of obedience is important in the spiritual walk. If something bad were to happen soon in general, Trust in Him to keep you safe and comfortable. Remember, He told His disciples He would keep them safe out of harms way, and evil. He will do the same for us. His promises will never be swept away. Those who listen, He calls you His friend.

5:Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6:In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

So even if we are forgiven we are still going to be punished?
i thought that once we are forgiven he forgets about it because we are wiped clean of the sin...

I'm confused...
