So, this year our BD decided we were only doing two contests outside of UIL since it's a state year for us 5A TX high schools, which gives us two extra contests to possibly go to. As it turned out, we had to go after the same school in both non-UIL contests. Now we're heading into UIL's second round, for which the schedule was determined by drawing, and again, we're right after the same school. Yes, we have a score to settle with them, but does fate really have to make us go after them again? We did go before them once, but it was at finals of the second non-UIL contest, where the schedule was determined by prelim ranks.
Anyone else ever have to do this sort of thing? If so, is it supposed to be this annoying?

Kind of. But really it was the host band calling us a different school. That school was coming off the field when we entered the stadium after taking our uniforms off. But we never get to watch our rival schools band because they are a division lower then us, so they go before us orat a different session(most festivals here do a morning and afternoon session with two award ceremonies)
