Fast-paced and funny, this series is a good blend of fantasy and science-fiction (This is coming from a person that normally can't stand sci-fi.) with how the parallel universes - and aliens a.k.a demons - are described and related to one another.

Another factor that's great about it is that all three young heroes are likeable!!! eek Every other series that I've read with three main characters (Harry Potter, Wheel of Time, and Percy Jackson to name a few) always has one member of the trio that gets on my nerves, but not this one! biggrin

The third of the four books is my favourite in the series because it made me laugh the most. rofl Of course, all of them are exciting with twists until the unexpected endings!

Faerie Wars is definitely an original series of books that’s worth checking out if you're in the mood for some fun and funny young adult fantasy. whee
