I only made this thread because I stumbled upon this song, which not only reminds me of Katniss and Peeta in Mockingjay, but is also catchy as hell. I literally cannot stop listening to it. XD
spoilers in white below.
Specifically, the lyrics remind me of them, especially how Peeta got hijacked ('That was true or false') and Katniss having trouble being the Mockingjay ('The chosen one's out of time') and so on.
So. Got any songs? :3

As I just finished reading the last book today, I am still emotional, but almost every song or ordeal I experience brings memories of the books. I will attempt to narrow it down just a little bit for you. At different points in the series, I listened to many songs by the Christian band Anberlin. Some of the songs include Never Take Friendship Personal, Glass to the Arson, The Runaways, Blame Me! Blame Me!, Breaking, The Haunting, and a few others from their albums New Surrender, Cities, Lost Songs, and Never Take Friendship Personal. Rise Against provided me with songs like Ready to Fall, Collapse (Post Amerika), Kotov Syndrome, Savior, and many more. One other band in particular had but a few songs; that band is called Coheed & Cambria. There is a YouTube user by the alias of RaeofRandomness whom composed a comprehensive, though flawed, set of pieces as themes for various characters and events. Those are my best suggestions.

Best of You - Foo Fighters

Before I finished Mockingjay and found out who Katniss ends up with, this is the song I used for the one who didn't become her lover and herself. Seems like something he would sing to her, especially the "Were you born to resist, or be abused" line there.

Lmao, Grenade by Bruno Mars.

It's funny because it works both ways. In the 74th Hunger Games, Peeta was willing to sacrafice himself for Katniss, but in 75th Hunger Games, It was the other way around. Even though the song sort of sends a message that throws you off, it dosent take away the fact that they would take all the possible pain in the world for the one they love. I mean listen to the lyrics.

"Cus' Darling I would catch a Grenade for ya'. (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah) Throw my hand on a blade for ya'. (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah) Id jump in front of a train for ya'. (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah) You know I'd do anything for ya'. (Oh oh ohhhh) I would go through all this pain. Take a bullet straight through my brain. Cus' I would die, for ya' baby. But you won't do the same."

I usually listen to music whilst reading, these just kind of fitted:

~"Sweet Sacrifice" by Evanescence

~"M.O.V.E." by Thousand Foot Krutch [TFK]

~"Animal" by Three Days Grace

~"Tears of an Angel" -RyanDan

~"Hero" by Skillet

~"Pain" by Thre Days Grace

and, strangely,

~"Monster" by Skillet

They just fit, trust me!^^

For the emotional parts:
TFK - Favorite Disease

"Wanting watching debating on which way to run to. Haunted voices craving someone to run to." "Silent warnings tell me that I've let things come undone."

Poetry.

And for the action parts:
Three Days' Grace - Break

"Tonight my head is spinning. I need something to pick me up. I've tried but nothing is working. I won't stop, I won't say I've had enough

Tonight I start the fire. Tonight I break away

Break away from everybody.
Break away from everything.
If you can't stand the way this place is,
take yourself to higher places."

Freakin' awesome.

"Re-Education Through Labor" by Rise Against reminds me a lot of what people in the Districts would have to go through.

and then..

"Riot" by Three Days Grace makes me think of pretty much all of Mockingjay book.

ZOMG! *facepalms* How could I forget this one?!

The song that fits the entire Game, as far as I am concerned:

"Only the Strongest Will Survive" by Breaking Benjamin!

When I read books while listening to music, I will find a way to relate them to that book I read but one song that reminds me of the first book, The Hunger Games, is "Second Go" by Lights. I think it describes kind of how Katniss is scared to let go of Peeta and asks for a second chance XD (and, PLEASE, somebody stop me if I keep on doing really long posts. I know I don't like reading them)

Lovesick Mistake - Erin McCarley
Makes me teary eyed because it reminds me of The Hunger Games.

Love what do you say?
Your mystery winds me up to be playful
Oh here goes my curious sinner within
Is someone listening? I hope no one is listening

Katniss has to deal with conflicting feelings about love for Peeta. The last line relates to everyone watching them at home--but just watching, not listening closely to how Katniss is just pretending.
