You should probably check for a list of items they give now? I know they've added some items from way back when. And then check the marketplace for each drop to see if opening or selling it is more worth it.
But I don't know if you used to just check what their drops would give you, out of respect for your fishies, or something? owo;
The above method was more about profit. XD;
