Ed and his brother have gone their separate ways for the time being, Al decided to became a Alchemist and started going on missions, while Ed on the other hand, returned to his home and has met up with his friend, Winry. they are best friends and always have been for most of their lifes, but now winry has found that she has acquired new and unfamiliar feelings for Ed, and Ed vice versa, now that will happen when they return to each other, will they find love, or will they be just as were for so many years, friends.

personality: laid back, adventurous, likes to help people, kind, can get easily mad if you talk about his hight
bio: Ed grew up with his brother Al, and his mother, who died of a of poison. he Tried to bring her back to life, only to have his arm and leg taken to the other side, along with Al's trues body. Ed was able to put his brothers soul in armor, and became a state alchemist to search for a way to get his and his brothers bodys back. Al has returned home while his brother has become a state alchemist. He returned to his home town to take a break from the states.

Winry Winry sighed, her grandmother was gone for the week, off to fix someone's automail, leaving Winry to deal with the things at home by herself... The bad part was, it was completely dead... Everyone had already come in for their maintenance, and Winry had nothing to do... She kicked her feet up on the railing of the porch and looked out at the road, watching the grass blowing in the wind with the faint wind. She pulled off her head scarf, setting it next to her on the swing she sat on. She closed her eyes, enjoying the sun and the breeze, a faint smile playing across her lips as she relaxed. She wondered what Ed was doing right now, where him and Al were, and how they were...

Edward walked down the rails that lead to his hometown, he sighed and looked around, the fresh air and wind felt so good to him. He looked back, wondering how Al would do without him "you be careful out there brother" he said to himself softly and kept walking, a smile on his face, and thats when he saw his hometown "man its good to be back" he said and looked around the streets. He got a idea, he went to the flower shop and bought some flowers, then started walking twords the cemetery.

Winry Winry shifted in her seat, feeling fidgety... Why couldn't she seem to sit still? It was like the air was charged with something she couldn't see.... She sighed and stood, grabbing her things and going into her home, looking around at the familiar chaos that was known for being strewn with tools and pieces of automail here and there.

Edward walked up to the cemetery and approached one grave, it had his mothers name on it. he stood there for what seemed to be days and finally put the flowers by the grave. He turned and started back into town, thinking of a place to stay, it was getting late and he figured Winry was getting ready to settle in. He decided to it would be best to stay at the inn and go to Winry's tomorrow, he was really looking forward to seeing her. He walked back and decided before he went to the inn, he would explore the town, so he walked down the street and looked around.

Winry Winry finished her meal and sat at the table, one hand absently petting her dog as she stared out of the window... She stood, grabbing all her dishes, and took them to the sink.. Once they were cleaned she returned to her seat on the porch, watching nightfall settle over her home

After exploring the town, enjoying some of the goods that he bought, and catching up with some friends, ed went to the inn and ordered his room and board for the night. he went up to his room, as he thought it was small, the bed covered most of the room. He sighed and laid down, staring at the ceiling, he couldnt wait to see Winry tomorrow. He gave a soft smile and closed his eyes, waiting for the sun to shine on him tomorrow.

Winry Winry blinked in the bright light streaming into her window, it was just after dawn from the looks of the sunlight... She sat up, stretching and yawning, the dog trotted into the room, bumping her hand and she nodded, standing and going to the front door to let it out. She returned back inside and went about giving the animal fresh food and water and started making herself something to eat. She hummed softly to herself as the scents of fresh eggs, sausage and toast filled the room, she slipped pieces of each to the dog as she finished cooking and put her stuff on a plate, grabbing a glass of milk out of the fridge on her way past to the table...

Ed awoke the the sunlight hitting his face as he got up and stretched, getting out of his bed and getting into a fresh pair of cloths from his suitcase. he walked out and got some breakfast from downstairs, had a nice chat with the owner of the inn and was on his way. He walked down the road and he saw Winrys place, same as always. He sighed and got ready, she would probably be pissed that he didnt call to tell her he was coming. He continued walking to her house.

Winry Winry had just finished her breakfast when she heard the dog begin to bark, announcing that someone was coming up the road. She rinsed off her dishes and stood, leaving her hair streaming down her back in a blonde sheet as she walked out of the house, she shaded her eyes, and looked up the road, unable from this distance to recognize who it was, but the dog apparently did... Surely... No... It couldn't be him, he would have called or sent a message or some such thing if he'd been on his way to see her. And besides if he'd been on his way, wouldn't there have been two figures, she hadn't ever known the brothers to be apart in all their years.

Ed continued to walk down the road and was caught by the dog, he keeled down "hey boy, long time no see" he said and patted his head, only to the dog respond with a happy bark. Ed smirked as he grabbed his suitcase again and continued to walk to the house, now he was at the front, only a few steps away from the porch, looking at Winry "hey...long time huh?" he said with a smirk.

Winry Winry looked down at Ed, he looked no different from the last time she had seen him walk away from this house, she jogged down the steps, and stopped just in front of him, looking surprised "Where's Al, did something happen?"

"yea well ill get to that, for now though, do you mind if i come in?" he asked and placed his suitcase down. The dog came up and jumped on Ed, who laughed "down boy!" he said and patted his head, then turned back to Winry, looking at her up and down. She looked alot more...mature now. "so...may i?" he asked
