**SPOILERS AHEAD** (And whited out, but thought I'd put a warning here JUST in case I missed something)
I loved the book, but was disappointed in Katniss' decision in Peeta. Oh well, I'll take Gale. XD
ANYWAYS: I was also disappointed in all the deaths! So many amazing characters didn't make it! I was REALLY happy when she shot Coin though, I never liked her. And I was sad in the lack of Cinna. Cinna was a character I always loved!
I don't know about you guys, but I want to know more about what happened afterwards!

wahmbulance spoilers wahmbulance
ohmygod. i just finished the book and that was the most amazing, sad, great, fustrating, moving, emotion filled book that i've read in a long time.
That book made me cry SO much. especially the end. I hated all the deaths. Finnikin died so quickly i didn't regester it at first. I reread it and it hit me. It totaly shocked me. I mean, poor Annie!!!
Then when Prim died, i broke down crying. How the hell could Suzanne Collins kill off Prim? I least expected her to be killed. Major shocker. eek
I was glad Kitniss got together with Peeta, but i felt that she didn't write about them together at last enough. She really could've added more the the ending.
Over all, it was a magnificent book that made me love and hate the author. whee

How can you kill off Prim? If you kill off Prim, what has this all been about? It was always about Prim!
Sorry, just had to get that out of my system. I really did love Mockingjay. Also the ending was weird. But she made the right choice of Peeta over Gale.

ok first of all I was upset when Finnick and Prim died!!!!! after ALL katniss did to keep Prim alive, it seemed like a total waste of the entire POINT of the book. and I'm sad that Gale and Mrs. Everdeen abandoned Katniss, that pissed me off to... With that said, though, it was and AWESOME series and I have recomended it to two of my friends mrgreen

this book is AMAZING!!! actually the whole series is... Ive gotton 3 of my friends to read it already. i cried more then ive ever cried while reading... crying ******SPOILER ALERT****** i love katniss and Peeta together!! but i dont like how Gale just totally left her and never spoke to her again.. SO, the baby, well that was kind of wierd for me.. when i imagine katniss, i think of bows and arrows and her being super kick a**. but when i think of babies i think of drooling, pooping, loud, screaming, annoying toddlers... the two dont really mix... but its fine i still and always will love these books smile

Diddnt finish the book, but Ima sucker fer spoilers :3 ANYwho, it is really dissapointing to hear Finnick is dead. I felt like I wouldnt like him when He first appeared in Catching Fire, but I was okay with him in Mockingjay. WHat happened, he died in Gale's trap with prim?

wahmbulance Spoilers wahmbulance I really hated the fact that Finick died. I literally cried. (Which I normally don't do while reading books). I also hate that Prim died. I had to read that section about 3 times to get what exactly happened.

My post is gonna have unmarked spoilers, cause what are ya doin' in this thread if you haven't read it, anyway? GO READ! 8 9
SO WARNING~
Was I the only one pissed with Katniss in this book? She had already begun to irk me during the second book, but I didn't hate her. You know what made me hate her? She said yes. She voted more Hunger Games. She cast her vote for more innocent children to be killed. For Prim. CAUSE THAT'S WHAT SHE'D WANT, RIGHT?
I couldn't believe it. I was so upset with her. And watching her flip flop between Gale and Peeta for the whole series didn't exactly leave me with the highest opinion of her, either. Poor things.
She also came across to me as stuck up and self centered. The way she looked down and jumped to conclusions about other characters.
Now here's where I'm a bit confused. I'm not sure if Suzanne Collins MEANT for her to be this way, to create a flawed protagonist and in doing so make a more realistic character, or if all these flaws were unintentional and we're meant to see her as a sympathetic badass and excuse her behavior for all the hardships she's faced.
Well, in any case, the book got an emotional rise out of me, so I'd say it was pretty great. Any book that makes me feel is a good thing to me. : ) I enjoyed the books, regardless of my frustrations.
