There are ways and steps to connect with God, and their meanings.

1. Faith
2. Worship
3. Directions

Take time to pray...

Its is the greatest power on earth!

WHEN YOU PRAY...

"Say what you mean, and mean what you say"

"Pray without ceasing"

THE JESUS PRAYER

"Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me"
(say 600 times a day)

"GOD GOVERNS THE WORLD BUT PRAYER GOVERNS GOD"

Yeah, I'd like to know that too.

OT: There's a saying I just remembered.

"If God feels farther away, guess who moved?"

The one who is closest to God moved, because God always keeps to His promises that He will never forsake us, or leave us alone. :3

So prayer does not govern God, it governs us. It governs our relationship with God along with reading the BIble.

Prayer is the ultimate relationship to have with the Heavenly Father. Give Him thanks to everything that He does for you, as an individual.

The Four Spiritual Laws is an evangelistic Christian tract created in 1952 [1] by Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ. Bright wrote the booklet as a means to clearly explain the essentials of the Christian faith concerning salvation.

In the booklet, Bright summarizes the Christian message of salvation contained in the Bible as four spiritual laws that govern our relationship with God, just like there are physical laws that govern the universe.[1] The four spiritual laws are:

1. God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life. (John 3:16, John 10:10)
2. Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)
3. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life. (Romans 5:8, I Corinthians 15:3-6, John 14:6)
4. We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives. (John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8,9, John 3:1~8, Revelation 3:20)

Perhaps the word govern here means to request of. God does make specific promises in the Bible. Because of His nature, being holy and reliable and always truthful, He will keep to these promises. So, in a sense, it is possible to say that these promises, and asking for them in prayer, govern Him.

Ultimately, however, God chooses His nature. He will not go back on that nature. We have faith in God, and thus have faith in His keeping to His nature of holiness and constant-ness, or immutability.

I THINK you have assumed that I'm saying prayer governs God.
I was merely offering an explanation to what she might mean.

Let us focus on the good things God has done for us and put in our lives! We already know God is above all things and that prayer must be sincere and persistent.
