No its not a complaint thread about a midget who beat me up. My mother is hosting a site called... well that at http://www.viciousfatandshort.com/and she needs some artistical help from anyone who can, I figured asking here was a good a place as any. she said "I am looking for an illustrated female pixie like image using velvet greens and a touch of red. Something like a bit of a Manga mixed with Tinker-bell feel to it but not too childlike cartoon y. Strong, but not &in your face& colours are good. I am thinking messy hair and a jagged hem line but I am of course open to other similar looks. I have a website with a name that sounds harsh even though it is actually about identity, I need the image to counteract the name. I need a white background so that the image can be used on the website, flyers and possibly products etc." whatcha think? Discuss: Everything

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts. There they are a'standing in a row!I could whip up something, I guess, when I get a chance.
Does your mom want the project to be a digital work or a traditional work? Traditional is something I can do because, unfortunately, my mind doesn't work digitally/graphically. "Give them a twist, a flick of the wrist!" That's what the showman said!

as far as I am aware she wants it to be able to be put on the website, so as long as it can be scanned in its fine I am sure. using the website you can even send it directly

I might give it a go~. Sounds like a fun little project, and now that I don't have any art classes, it'd be a swell challenge.

Was it Hobbes (John) that said life was "vicious, brutal, and short"?
EDIT: No, it was Thomas Hobbes (Hobbes describes the life of man as “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short…”.)
(You might remember him as the philosopher / tiger in Calvin and Hobbes)
