Srsly. I've got one that keeps breaking. First the buttons on the set itself stopped working. Then you had to push the power button ten (and progressively more until we were up to 40) times to get it to turn on. Now it turns on, but the picture dies after one second and we essentially have a two hundred dollar radio. Never had this problem with a Sony. scream
Any brands you hate? Why?

[Mr. Mau heart H2H]
The only thing Samsung would be good for is phones, and batteries (I think I saw a AA Battery by Samsung).

well...Panasonic sucks pretty bad. I remember the one we used to have broke about every six months, and the customer service was horrible. n.n But I haven't ever had a Samsung TV before...or Samsung anything, really.

How long have you had your Samsung tv for? I have a Vizio tv that does the same thing with the power button. Though it maxes out at 3 presses.
Sony is one of the best but also most expensive. I know several people who have purchased Samsungs and never had a problem wit them. I like 'em.
I used to own a Samsung phone, that thing was the shiz (in a good way.)
