So...As I bounce between writing and acting as a career choice, I have been doing impressions as exercises on my voice. I have done two so far, as I try to find ones that I could do. I've done an Old Spice Man commercial, and the Why So Serious scene from The Dark Knight.

Now, the first one is okay to me, despite a little bit of error.

The second one is good, but the start is a little rough.

A lot of people liked it when I posted it. Both of them actually.

What I want to know is...

Do you like them?
Are they good?
Could I have a future in acting?
Do I need more practice?

First off, just wanna say, everyone needs practice whether you've been doing this for one year or seventy, there's always room to grow.

I couldn't get the first one to play.

The second one, I thought, was actually pretty good. Some of your articulation is a tad off; when you said "kitchen knife" it kind of jumbled into one word and I probably wouldn't have known what you said if I hadn't seen the Dark Knight about 500 times. When you say "why so serious, son?" it sounds a little weird. More like, "why so serious'un?" I'd fix that, too. I didn't like the very end. "And....why so serious?" You sound too happy and young there.

Overall, I really liked the second one.

I think you should practice talking into a microphone more. Sometimes when you're saying like "WHY SO SERIOUS?" you really breathe into the mic and that can get a little distracting. ^^

I liked your first one, I think you did that well, and your voice suited it.
The second one I think the pitch of your voice didn't really suit it. It didn't make me feel all creeped out like Heath did.

I like your voice though, it's nice.

Oh that's a good point. You're right, it didn't creep me out either. xD
