Yeah, I'm pretty sure Baptists in general are a very extreme form of Christianity, and that's coming from a born-and-raised Catholic. I'm sure not all are quite so bad, but generally when you see a sect or specific church running around calling something evil like that, it seems to be Baptist. I've noticed that around here, at least.
Please note that the typical Christian doesn't spend so much time hating on things, especially trivial little things like that that only exist in their imagination. There are more important things in life.
