 StoryThis is a story about how love always shines through the hate. He's the bad boy in school, always getting in trouble, and has been suspended a number of times. She's the too energetic artist, who's always a ray of sunshine. Somehow, they've fallen for each other. Both of them have bad childhoods, though they both are completely different. She gets angry about the way he treats her. He gets upset about the way she doesn't seem to understand him. They get into violent fights. They scream and yell, kick and punch, slap and spit. But, after it's all over, they always end up back together again, their love stronger than before. Can they mend their love, before it all falls apart?

I am: Sixteen, almost Seventeen I stand tall: 5'6" I am not that big: 117.9 pounds I happen to be: Female I am pierced: Three ear piercings and a nose piercing. I am inked: None. My life story: My father left before I was born, so I've been raised by my mom and older brother. My brother's into drugs and alchol, and he's constantly beating on me and my mother, and sometime's I can't take it, and I yell back at him. My mother and I tend to just stay away from him, though it's hard since we live in the same house. I fell for the bad boy at school, but lately, we've been getting into such horrible fights that I come home all bruised. I am told: I'm too energetic for my own good, or for many other's likings. Kasandra lay in her bed, the distant and muffles noises of shattering glass and yelling drifting from down the hall, she she craddled her cheek with an ice bag, trying to stop the swelling of her face, where there was a large bruise. She had gotten into yet another fight with him, or Danny, and they had ended up taking swipes at each other. She had managed to get him good a few times, but the blow he gave to her face was still throbbing with pain. She let out a sigh, sinking into the soft, inviting pillows in her bed, staring at the ceiling, replaying the whole fight in her head. It had started with something stupid. It might have been because of the paint that she had accidentally gotten on him, or maybe it was because of the way he greeted her. It could have been so many things, but soon enough, they both had exploded. It had happened a few hours ago, but she still hadn't called to apologize yet. Her face hurt so much, and everytime she though about it, she got mad at him. Honestly, how could he punch her in the face!? Her mother flipped when she came home, but her brother followed in, so she was let free as the two began to bicker. She though about Danny, and began to smile as she thought of his sleek black hair, the gleam in his eyes when he saw her, the way his lips molded with hers. She sighed, frowning, and sat up, letting the ice pack fall onto her lap. Forgetting the throbbing pain on her face, she flipped open her cell, and pressed his speed dial. 3.
It rang twice, before she suddenly hung up. She bit her lip, and glanced around her room. It was tiny, just the queen bed she had, a dresser, a small closet, a vanity, and nothing else. She opened her phone again calling him again, before ending the call immediately. It wasn't her fault. Why should she be the one to apologize. Because she was the better person, that was why. She pressed his speed dial one more time, letting it ring four times, before hanging up again, and falling back into her pillows, the phone in her hand. "It's too hard!~" She said to herself, and kicked her legs, trying to muster the courage to call him, and maybe not hang up this time. Or, she should just wait to talk to him in person! But by then... He might think she hated him. Which, she didn't. Maybe they should just meet tonight at the park, like they did sometimes. But... it was going to storm tonight, and she hated storms.

Daniel "Danny" Charles Brown.
"I don't care for you, Yet I stick with you."  Daniel sat in his room at his desk with the lamp on.He was alone right now his mother left money on the table for food.He was writing vigorously but always ended up throwing the paper in the trash. He was covered in bruises and scratches from a recent bout with HER.He thought back on it most people were right when they said sooner or later someone is gonna get hurt. No one not even she knew that in this he would get physical.He looked at his hand feeling a little ashamed by this.He punched her in the face.He wanted to apologize but what was the point odds are she hated him He did do the one thing that counted as abuse to people.Normal fights were verbal but with them this was just bad.He sighed and decided to call her.He thought about her and her beautiful face and red hair and for some reason her kind gentle attitude her being the only one who even got near him without to much fear.He thought about kissing her and sighed.He got In school Suspension for a month now but He didn't care.There was no one who was going to punish him his dad only encouraged it.He dialed her number and waited to see if she would pick up.
He was going to apologize for the wrong he did though it was out of character he hoped after she didn't expect anything new.He wasn't going to change himself just for her and if she didn't like it she might as well leave him because he didn't care to.If she hates him fine if she doesn't fine he is going to just change anything based on her annoying preferences. He was annoyed with her a little those two were not mean for each other yet they cared for each other.Honestly after that he was going to be known for abusing girls as well but he didn't care why would her.Kas would have to understand otherwise he would just leave it at that.He might as well show her he was sorry with a little gift.He picked up a little box holding a little skull and bones bracelet on it...As if she would accept it in the first place.

Kasandra listened as the bickering died down, and the door slammed open, before a car drove away. She heard her mother's muffled cries as she ran past her bedroom, going into her own and crying. She felt bad that her mother had to deal with that while she was locked in her safe little room, but she had her own problems to deal with now. She sighed, listening as thunder sounded outside her window. She jolted a bit. Thunderstorm frightened her. She dived under her covers like a little toddler as more thunder sounded, before popping her head back up, and putting the ice on her cheek again. She was just about to get up and get something to eat, when her phone began to ring. As quickly as she could, she flipped it open and saw who was calling. Immediatley, she raised it to her ear, and pressed the little green button. "Danny? Danny! Oh, Danny, I'm so sorry! I honsetly truely didn't mean to hurt you! Please forgiv--Eek!" She hadn't given him any time to speak, typical of Kasandra, and she was about to literally beg for forgiveness when thunder sounded loud outside her window. She sank down into her covers, only the top of her head viewable. "It's storming over here... Are you getting stormed on too?" She spoke softly to him, holding the phone tenderly to her face, as if it would break. Some said the girl was too kind for her own good, but many hadn't seen her when she was mad. She felt a twinge of guilt, and slid even further under her white covers, only her hair viewable now.
"I'm really sorry I got you suspended. I just... I got so mad-!" Kasandra said into the phone, then let out a sigh, putting a pout on her face even though he couldn't see it. "Did I hurt you?"

Daniel rolled his eyes at the sound of thunder knowing when it came to her and thunder she was just a little girl.He sighed hearing her yell and jump under the covers that girl was fragile when she was not mad.He listened to her and when she finally shut up and let him speak he sighed "Yes you did...But I can take it....Listen I am sorry I punched ou in the face...I should not have done such a thing...It doesn't matter if I was suspended...I deserved it for what I did...Listen I ummm...I got you a gift.." he said "Its storming here too but only rain and flashes no noise..." he said and shrugged "Listen...If you are scared stay on the phone with me..." he said and sighed "I-I love you." he mumbled the last part.

Kasandra listened as Danny spoke, ignoring the thunder best she could, though it really wasn't working. She was still under her covers, the ice pack on her cheek, jolting every time thunder sounded. She heard him sighing, and frowned a bit. She didn't want him to be upset with her, but it seemed as if he always was. "No, I'm sorry I exploded like that. I deserved to get punched in the face." Lies. She in no way thought that, but she didn't want him to beat himself up. She sank further below her covers, letting the warmth envelop her. "Really? What type of gift? And, you're lucky. I really don't like the thunder." Further under the covers she went as the thunder sounded again. She was now in the middle of her large bed, curled up on her side, the phone pressed to one side of her face, and ice pack on the other.
His next words left her stunned. She blinked, thinking she had just heard something. She crawled out from under the covers, and brought the phone away from her ear, to look at it. She wondered what was going on. He had never said that to her before. "Uh... Repeat that last part for me, please?" She cooed into the phone, a smile on her face.

Kasandra sighed, as he saw right through her lies. Of course her would. "I'm sorry! I just don't want you to be mad at me!" She said into the phone. She stopped breathing as she heard his words, and her heart skipped a beat. She dropped the phone onto her lap, her mouth hanging open, before she scrambled to pick it up, presssing it hard against her ear, listening to the rest of what he was saying. "Holy s**t..." she muttered, running a hand through her red hair. "You're not messing with me, right Danny? Because if you are I'm going to murder you," she said, feeling anger flaring. It would be just like him to say something like this, then shoot it down the next second. She started to take in quick breaths, as she tried to calm herself down. "Please say you mean it, because I love you too. I really do truely love you." She said, melting into her pillows. Yes, she was a mush. "That sounds cool," she replied. It did sound very pretty, and rather ironic considering to symbolized him more than it did her.

Daniel looked at the phone "Ugh....Yes I mean it.." he said and sighed "Yeah I know it seems like me but...I couldn't find any art bracelets...though to be honest...I did get another gift but I don't know if you would like it..Its a red..artist beret and it comes with Palette.." he said and sighed "I am really sorry for punching you...But as I said...I am not changing a thing." he said and went to his bed and sat down before leaning back just waiting "I understand we have our differences...but I love you...I really do Hun.." he said he couldn't believe he was saying this.

Kasandra smile, feeling as if she had won a fight, getting him to say those three words. They echoed in her head. 'I love you'. She looked out the window, seeing flashes of light and the rain pouring down, and got out of her bed. She was still dressed, because she usually went out at night anyway. "I won't believe you unless you tell it to my face." She said, wanting an excuse to see him, and to see his mouths making those words. She listened with little interest as he explained his gifts, but smiled none the less. "You know, you may try to be tough and mean, but you're really sweet on the inside," she said, knowing this was something he wouldn't want to hear. "Meet me at the park, near the swings." She told him, smiling as she heard the words again, and then hung up before he got to say anything else. She walked out of her room, shoving her phone in her pant's pocket, grabbed her rain-proof coat, and her bubble umbrella.
"Mooom! I going out. Be back late, most likely!" She screamed at her mother, then opened the door, and took a step out into the storm. She hated storms, but she was willing to face one if it meant Danny. She opened her umbrella, and began walking down the street towards the park, splashing in the puddles and soaking her converse shoes. She was always such a little girl when it came to storms. In more ways than one. As thunder sounded, she shrieked, closing her eyes and standing still. She then opened them, and began to walk again.
