So me and a group of friends are having an argument with some Canadians. They don't think that leaves in the fall have a smell, while everyone else does.
Also, it's just a coincidence that only the Canadians in this group of people agree on this matter.

Leaves in the fall smell like misery to me. Stuffed up sinuses, sore throat from drainage, and a stomach full of runny snot making me nauseous. gonk

Hmm.
I suppose if you picked up a seperate leaf- there may be very-little-to-no-scent.
I say it's just the autumn air?

I'm Canadian and I don't know if it's leaves that have a scent or whether it's just autumn itself but yes, there is a scent. And, it is purely coincidence those people who disagreed were Canadian because everyone I know here agrees there is a scent.

If you hold them up to your nose and sniff yes. Otherwise no they don't in my opinion.
