ok ok, i will admit that the first pairing i ever got into was L x Near. 7_7 i still find it kind of cute, but also realize how ***** it is. 0_e L CAN'T be a *****! he-he's too amazing for that! *ahem* but anyways, i'd like to know you're thoughts on this odd pairing, which ISN'T crack; it makes complete sense, it's just odd.

I don't like them in a romantic pairing.
However, when they're paired up in more like a father-son (Or maybe big brother-little brother) type-relationship, rather than a romantic one, I think that's kind of cute.

LxNear!!!??? Uggh...please no...Their relationship is more brotherly than...whatever term you can use for yaoi.
(then again,it feels I'm the only Death Note fan who doesn't like Near...)
I think any Death Note pairings should just be LxLight or MelloxMatt.

I don't like them as a pairing. I see it more as L being like an older brother to Near. I don't see them.. or at least, I don't like to see them romantically involved. Not that I mind ***** in anime.
