For all the Zelda games we have seen, Ganon, Vaati, Bellum, etc. Although we have yet to see that epic fight between Link and his dark side. Of course we saw him as a mini boss in OoT and a pain in the a** hindrance in Four Swords. We have yet to see Links dark side as the main antagonist attempting to corrupt Hyrule into ever lasting darkness. TP should have had a fight or with Dark Link rather than him just in a cutscene that was irrelevant to the main story, ever since then I've been wanting Dark Link to be Links adversary. My question to you my fellow Zelda fans, would you like to see Dark Link as a full functioning main antagonist in a Zelda game?

It would be something new from the constant Ganon and Ganondorf. And that would make an interesting story with it also, maybe that doesn't focus on the triforce so heavily.

There could be many interesting plots focusing around Link vs. Dark Link. . . hm. Good fan fiction idea actually. :'D I don't know what would be the main conflict though. >.< Because it would not be the traditional fight for the triforce, as you said. . . or. . . it could be all about the triforce. . . :'O

That would be a very interesting storyline. I'm surprised they haven't done it.

Of course! Dark Link is the shitake!!! Also, the storyline would be much more diverse, a very inner-and-outer battle of sorts.

There has already been a story where Dark Link is the main antagonist. In Zelda II: The Adventure of Link for the NES featured Dark Link as the final boss, although he wasn't that influential in the story at that time.
Oh and Shadow Link and Dark Link aren't the same!

Oh and Shadow Link and Dark Link aren't the same! i know that, but i mean a full blown story where dark link is making link and hyrules life a living hell of sorts with a deep and good storyline to back it up. im aware of the difference of the two but people tend to think they are the same so im just mentioning shadow link as he appeared.

Hmm... thats would be interesting to have Dark Link as the antaganist and not the miniboss. But the creators of Zelda probably wouldn't think of it until the last mintue when ppl start thinking that they didnt make a good enough game.

maybe that one cutscene is going to be realevant in the next zelda game. who knows. they might do the same as they did on OOT and MM. Skull kid was an extremely irrelevant character in OOT but in the sequel MM they had him as the main antagonist. or a puppet to the real antagonist shall i say. pirate
