Triforce Zelda
She is the Zelda we see in the SNES game A Link to the Past and mentioned in Link's Awakening. She is called Triforce Zelda because A Link To the Past was called Triforce of the Gods in Japan. She looks very sincere in my opinion and probably the modest of all Zeldas. Although she was still a damsel in distress, in the third game her image was more established as a princess.

Ocarina Zelda
Believed to be the Sage of Time and Princess of Destiny, the Ocarina Zelda was the first and one of the popular Zelda to sport a super cool ninja like alter ego called Sheik. She is not the usual Damsel in distress but a rather strong woman who can hold her own against evil. Yep, she managed to deceive the great king of evil for seven freakkin' years! Way to go your highness! She appeared in the legendary Ocarina of Time and appears in a flashback in Majora's Mask and also in Super Smash Bros. Melee!

Oracles Zelda
Appearing on Gameboy Color is the teenage princess Zelda from Oracle of Seasons and Ages. She is not quite the damsel in distress in these scenarios and she is not quite seen much. However she is one of the most memorable younger incarnation of Zeldas to be remembered. Although the games weren't that popular this Zelda was sure to get some attention.

Toon Zelda
Like Toon Link, enters Toon Zelda. Unrecognizable at first when she is in her alter ego as the great pirate captain Tetra, Princess Zelda returns as a Toon-carnation in The Wind waker and continues her adventures in Phantom Hourglass. Although her Wind Waker appearance was less of a Damsel in distress than in Phantom Hourglass, she is never-the-less, one of the most Cutest Zeldas to date. Aww, just look at the adorable chibi Princess!

FourSwords Zelda
Althought this little Zelda had a very little appearance in the series, she managed to become the princess in distress who need not just one, but the assistance of FOUR Links to be saved! Now that is a serious feat! To be captured by Vaati and awaiting to be rescued by four heroes is not something our Princess Peach got to experience yet! She appears in Four Swords and Four Swords Plus.

Minish Zelda
Nope she is not a minish. But she is the royal princess in The Minish Cap for Gameboy Advance. She is turned to stone instead of being kidnapped and Link must recover the sacred blade to unstone her! She is probably the youngest of the Zeldas so she gets a special attention here. Her looks strongly resemble Toon Zelda. Related ya' think?

Twilight Zelda
Say hello to a heavily established Princess of the kingdom of Hyrule, Princess Zelda who appears in Twilight Princess for the Gamecube and the Wii. She is much mature in nature and darker in her hair color! She is more beautiful, and in face, the most beautiful princess you'll ever see. She is graceful and charming, yet she holds her own against evil yet again and manages to get herself in the roster for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, succeeding Ocarina Zelda!

Spirit Zelda
Decendant of the Toon Zelda couldn't be any less Toonier! For the first time in Zelda history, the princess accompanies our hero all the way (so what if as a spirit? I mean how many princesses has done that before?) to get her body back! And not only that, she even takes over spirit guardians and fight evil back as an equal! Talk about her Chibi-ness eh?

Other Zeldas
I did not include some princesses because they were either way less popular or way less established as a titular character. The Zeldas from the first two games and the one from the damned CD-i games are probably in this category. If you want to vote for them, this is your pick. I don't know why anyone would vote any of them but if you do, please mention whom. (Example: I've voted the Sleeping Zelda from Zelda II)

Our Captain Zelda
She may not be from the Legend of Zelda series but still she is our Captain Zelda and pretty much the princess of this Guild so I've left an option to vote for her as well. She is one Zelda who never got kidnapped. Now that is a remarkable feat for a Zelda! Plus she is running a guild just like any princess would run Hyrule under peace and prosperity! Way to go Captain Zelda! We Loves You! :3
