Basic Information

The gun is essentially a refitted CEAM Modèle 1950 designed to fire newer, 7.62mm x 39mm rounds. The gun utilizes the same firing mechanism present both in the CEAM and StG 45 styled weapons. It is essentially slightly lighter then either, possessing an entire stamped steel construction rather than the implementation of wood.

Still, at 10 lb, it is a pretty heavy weapon for a gun who's effective range is only 300 yards (400 yards, in many cases). The gun is essentially, however, fitted with a very large, very durable receiver, possess all steel construction, and comes with standard recoil dampening additions already present in the stock and pistol grip. While somewhat heavier, the gun is very controllable under fire, and has a low recoil pulse, being just 5 joules. While this does not necessarily combat muzzle blast, the muzzle compensator at the tip that vents excess expanding gas upward in a high enough concentration to balance the gun combined with the recoil reducing effect of the weight and recoil compensation materials causes major changes in the weapons barrel fixation in the direction of a target to be nearly eliminated.

The weapon is also intended to be used in automatic fire for continued abuse, having a heavy steel barrel that doesn't need constant replacement or overheat quickly compared to other assault rifles, has a very heavy receiver that can withstand constant abuse and that operates very reliably, and also has several ports that vent excess gas, once again that diminishes excess heat and allows the weapon to fire automatically for extended periods of time with little diminishing effects in reliability. The weapon fires from a close bolt, and due to the venting of gases, has a very low chance of a cook-off.
