When you're quoted in the forums, you receive a notification.
When you're quoted in guilds, you do not. I'm pretty sure you'll have to step out of the box and enter a forum like the CB to get all the quoting you need.

...Well, I guess this would answer it. For the popular 50 post thread, did you make one in the guild? Did it count? I assumed that stuff done in guilds won't count because... it usually doesn't. u .u;;
