 Know of some quotes by philosophers [or by scholars & writers of any variety, as long as the content of the quotation has a definite philosophical element to it] that you'd like to share with us? Post them here! Have any larger [one-three paragraph approx.] excerpts of philosophical text you'd like to share with us? Post them here! Have any suggestions of Philosophical texts [& now I'm referring to "texts" to mean published works that you could maybe find in a bookstore] that you think are worth looking into at least? Post them here! Or, hell, just any philosophers in general that you really love that you feel are under-appreciated & not well known? Post them here!
I want to make this a little collection of worthy, as straight-to-the-point as possible, collection of worthwhile philosophy for the curious mind to look into. Submitting quotations you like is probably what I'd like to see the most, since most people won't read paragraphs of text or go buy a book. But reading quotes... That's a wonderful way for someone just browsing this thread to hopefully get hooked on a new idea or two.

I admire Nietzsche a lot for his quite confusing quotes. They are my food for thought.
