Come on, folks.
You can't honestly tell me that out of your band programs there isn't -some- videogame that everyone plays on the bus?
My band, personally, has never gone a bus ride without Mario Kart INSANITY for at least 90% of the trip. I can't tell you how many times I've played that game, nor how none of us get any better or tired of it.
So, what do you guys do?

Mostly Pokemon but I think there is one person who is always playing Final Fantasy. Pokemon is usually played in the brass section but there are some woodwinds *like me* who enjoy it too.

Not many bring their handheld gaming devices, but the few that do play Pokemon, including me. Though I don't get into Wifi battles. The hardcore guys bring their SPs and connector cables xd
I bring Ace Attorney too, but that's for my own personal enjoyment = w=

Not a lot of people (when I was in high school) had hand-held games with them; most brought cards or cacked/talked all the way to/from the competition. However, the year we went to Disney World, I brought my gameboy and accidentally had the sound on. Before I could turn it off, the guy behind me asked, "Who's playing Zelda?" We spent a good four hours playing LttP together. A year and a half later, we started dating. Nearly six years later, we're still together. X3

One guy played Final Fantasy for a whole 8-hour bus ride. Everyone who has an iTouch has Pokemon roms on it. Besides that, no. Everyone just listens to metal really loud. (Brass/percussion bus, maybe 5 girls. They're the main ones too.)

Our official band game is Tetris, though we do that at school. On the bus, we play Sudoku. :] Kinda lame, yeah, but it's actually really fun!
Other than that, as far as video games on the bus go, a lot of us play Pokemon, if that counts for much. :]

During marching season, the group of gamers usually plays Mario Kart on the bus.
About a month before HeartGold and SoulSilver came out, the pit started bringing their Nintendo DSes to school. After HGSS... at least like 20 people were wearing their Pokewalkers around school all day, and before one of our festivals, everyone got in a big group and started connecting them. xD We affectionately refer to our Pokemon-playing as "Pokaymanz", even the Jazz director.

the band that I'm in usualy plays Pokemon and I'll admit I'm one of those hardecore people who will sit and get a team ready just for the sake of taking down one of the percussion kids who keeps boasting so much it ticks everyone else off. We also bring our laptops and a few of us (a few clarinets, trumpets, and one sax player) take turns dieing horribly on a game called Touhou. Youtube this thing and it even looks hard so the laptop changes hands a lot due to the mass amount of "Game overs" which is how we rotate non multiplayer games

We have some people that play their own games, but if there's one game everybody gets in on it's when we all form a huge circle at the back of the bus an we pass around Bop-It. The kid that stops it usually gets yelled at/kicked out for sucking.

Most of us either A. Listen to Music So loud (With headphones) that the people two rows in front of them can hear it. B. Talk the Whole Way C. Play Pokemon, Battling each other, Usually in tournament style. The all time Pokemon champions keep switching between five people, and no one else really expects to win. They are all maxed out on level 100s. I have vowed that I will make it into the championship next year on my Platinum. I got close this year... D. Play card games.
