I borrowed the Inkheart movie from a friend and watched it. I loved it so much that I decided to read the book. After I read the first book I realized that the movie wasn't that great. The book was absolutely amazing and the movie changed the ending. The way it was done made it so they may not be able to make the next two books into movies! It's really annoying when movies do that to books. I would love to have everyone's opinions on this. 3nodding

I read the book first, so I was expecting the movie wouldn't be as good. I thought they did okay, at least they didn't screw it up the way they did Eragon.

The Inkheart film was surprisingly decent as long as you do not compare it to the book. They completely alter the ending because the novel continues and they didn't want to end the film on a cliffhanger since they had no intention of making more cinematic productions.
The film version of The Thief Lord, a stand-alone book by Cornelia Funke (Inkheart's author), is almost identical to the literary work, and I heart them both.

okay, first- THEY MADE A THEIF LORD MOVIE!!!!! SO NEEEEED TO FIND!!!!!! I love that book. I've done reports on it every year I have a different English teacher!
And I haven't read the books yet. I recently became obsessed with the movie, so now need to find the book. I have the third still, I think. But that is just wrong to read the third first.Horribly wrong. Movie is awesome though!!
