since we seem to to be in the habit of making topics on conventions we're going to smile
so, anyone going to Anime North? for those who don't know what that is, Anime North is a convention in Toronto, Ontario, Canada during the last weekend of May (the 28th-30th).
i'm kinda hyped because Vic Mignogna's gonna be there for the second year in a row biggrin he did a concert and played his Fullmetal Fantasy movie! which made me super-duper happy because it was my first convention ever and i didn't at all expect to see it. of course when i actually went to meet him and get his autograph, i had a brain meltdown and lost any form of intelligent thought 8D ah well, i got an Ed poster signed by him and got a picture, so it's all good. maybe i'll do better this year since my brother's going with me XD

Sadly I can't make it this year, hoping to hit it up in 2011 though =3 I was in Toronto for MTAC this year though, it was lots of fun, I enjoyed your city~

I need a new ID card to go to Canada so I doubt I will be able to aford the gas the new ID and the at the door cost of the con. Michigan has a new state law you can still get into canada with the old ID but you cant get back into Michigan if you dont have the new ID card. America has gotten really annoying since 9/11 DX

LMFAO. So stupid. xDDIndeed, its just a step toward the REAL ID act I live in a blue state so democrats love anything that gives a government more control over its people. Edit: Though to be fair I should add that full government control of all activities of the individual is virtually the goal of both national parties.
