Selene looks up, at The forest in the distance of the arena. She has already gotten supplies, and staiped her self into a tree.

Orchard ran and ran until she couldn't anymaore. She sat down near a pond, filled up her bottle, put iodine in it and smiled. I have to win this...

The gong sounded, and Ester was released into the arena. She considered walking towards the cornucopia, but already she saw others well on their way. It would mean certain death for her if she tried to engage in physical combat, but she didn't have the tools to survive. she would have to go the cornucopia eventually. She had a choice, either go now, and try to avoid the frantic melee but have a chance at something truly useful, or wait, and risk being shorthanded. The thought of a quick death somewhat comforted her, it would be much better than dying of starvation in the next days. so she put her feet to action, and ran as fast as her legs would carry her. The cornucopia sat in a forest clearing on top of a hill. Ester positioned herself so that she was still concealed by the various shrubs but could run up and see if she could grab anything. Selene, a girl who's face she could remember but not identify clearly already was there first and had already killed 3 trying to ascend the hill to the cornucopia. Their blood trickled down the hill and ran dangerously close to Ester's feet. But what startled Ester was when a girl not more than 10 feet away from her started to yell at Selene. Ester barely remembered her name as Orchard. She appeared to be taunting on Selene by throwing rocks. She was clever though, and would quickly hide behind the truck of a tree as soon as Selene threatened to fire an arrow. Ester backed away as silently as possible, she did not know how Orchard would react if she exposed herself, so it would be better that Ester simply back away. she rotated around the cornucopia about a quarter of a turn, when she stopped dead when a group of Carriers started to charge up the hill. They likely did see Ester, but their concern as carriers was weapons and domination. They hopefully wouldn't bother with a single little girl only rating a 3 in hand to hand combat. But Ester knew again that this was not a safe place to be. She rotated another quarter of a turn until Selene and Orchard were on the far side of the cornucopia. But they had already left seeing how 2 of the carriers carefully picked over what weapons they could find. Selene seemed to have gotten a good share, because Ester could hear the vague sound of disapproval. Perhaps Selene took all of the food rations. The other carrier readied himself with a javelin, threatening to impale anyone foolish enough to charge up the hill. Ester is used to living as a human lab rat, her sense of survival is nil zero, in fact, people are betting as to how and when she will die in the first day of the area. She said no goodbyes leaving the train station, and her token was a collar around her neck. She plans on hiding throughout the games and winning by attrition. But she is sure that she will die, and she prays that it will only be quick.

Orchard ran across the cornucopia and look around for anything to use on Selene. She found a few spears, a pack full of stuff to survive and Knifes. She pretended to be looking around when Selene came close behind her she twirled around and slit Selenes throat feeling The warm blood ooze down her face. She stayed long enough to hear her let out a long groan but the cannon didn't boom. Selene fell to the ground and orchard put the knife in her throat. Still no cannon. She stepped on the knife and pushed it down until finally Selene gave in and died. "You can keep the knife." Orchard told the body. She giggled as she ran off to fill her water bottle when she realized that there was another girl behind her when she was running up the hill. I wonder if that girl saw selene and I. She sighed and wiped the blood off her face. She then set up Snares both human and animal all around her.

Bio: Orchard was the daughter of the man who made bombs for the capitol. Or at least used to... When she was 4 she watched her father make a bomb and he was ok with it. When he left to go get something she stood up and walked over to investigate it. She pressed a button by accident and, frightened, ran away. Once the dad walked in and touched it, it blew him up. After getting her abusive mother for help she made her clean her dad off the walls and floor with a spoon. Then, she served the girl dinner with the very same spoon and would beat her if she didn't eat her dinner. Ever since then she runs away from her house to catch animals for only herself to eat.

Celaes grins and shoots off towards the Cornicopia, grabbing only a backpack and stealing a bow and sheath of arrows from a fallen girl. She takes off into the woods, grabbing a knife from a second body.
"Two dead already..."

 Name: Lillian (Lily) Age: 18 Date of birth: May 8th District: 4 Bio: Lily was born into a fishing family. For as long as she can remember when she wasn’t in school she was on a boat, helping her father fish, or searching the beach for seaweed with her mother for any number of reasons. Her main problem- she isn’t the biggest fan of fish. She’ll eat it, but she’d rather avoid it. She’s lived a pretty average life in District 4 with few friends. She likes sneaking down onto the beach at night and practicing her archery from a bow she made of driftwood and fishing line. Personality: Quiet, prefers to go on her own. She’d like an ally, but she also knows that an ally would just mess up her strategy. Weapon(s) of choice: Net, Bow and arrows and a dagger. Extras: Lily is really quite fast and stealthy. She’s known around District 4 as being able to sneak up on anyone even without trying. Lily ran forward, grabbed a bow and quiver of arrows along with a dagger and ran off into the trees. She’d have to find a place to hide until the other tributes were spaced out further. Just like Finnick had instructed her to- use her advantages. Her speed and stealth and ability with a dagger. She hadn’t bothered to share her ability with a bow with him, thinking it’d be better to hide that from anyone and everyone. She found a low branch and leapt onto it, then climbed to the next one. She snapped the lowest branch off so that no one could follow her up. “That’s that then,” She climbed as high as she could, hiding in the leaves, hearing a commotion to her right. She looked to see a few other tributes, one girl killing someone she couldn’t see.

District: 12
Bio: Celaes was born into a family with few friends, but a normal amount of money. She grew up rather normally until both her parents where killed in the same mine explosion that killed Katniss's father. Since then she'd climbed under the gate in the dead of the night, learning the ways of nocturnal creatures and hunting for food. The only reason she even bothered to stay in the district was because of her brother, Alexander.
Personality: Feircely competitive and refuses to lose, no matter how hard things may seem. She's personally against the idea of allies, but wouldnt kill someone who was a promising factor.
Weapons of Choice: Bow, Dagger, or Sword.
Extras: Since she spent so much time living in darkness of the fores, she has no problem seeing in partial/full darkness. However, it's not perfect so she is at a slight disadvantage.
Celaes runs silently through the forest, stepping quickly and lightly; mimicing the movements of the fox she has hunted. She hears a sharp snap 70 degrees to her left and sees the girl up in the tree. Deciding to spare all for now, she continues into the forest.

Orchard turned as if she was being watched and narrowed her eyes. It came from a branch and she turned to the direction of the sound. "WHO'S THERE!" she cried trying to sound stern but she knew that she was too young to.

Celaes runs as fast and as silently as she is able to untill she reaches a secluded spot near a stream. There are tall oaks nearby, perfect for jumping from. She places her new bow across her back and climbs up the tree with ease, making it as high as she can go in a matter of minutes.
She looks out across the tops of nearby trees and can see the gleaming tip of the Cornicopia from here.
"Two dead and dozens more to die soon."
She shakes her head and climbs a little ways back down the tree to avoid being spotted. Despite her doubts of her standing in the Games, she smiles as she remembers the parting words from her brother:
"May the odds...ever be in your favor."

Lily remained silent as the other girl yelled up at her. She simply watched, not daring to make a sound. Water. My first goal is water. I can hide out in the trees around it, fish... besides, I'm amongst the fastest swimmers in District 4. She kept her eyes on Orchard, but used her peripheral vision and ears to find water.

Devault sprinted down the hill. The games had recently started and there were already two dead. They must've gone off to the Cornucopia. He saw a tree rustling but he ignored. He took slight caution and slowed his pace. He was only running down the hill to find water, so if he took out an enemy on the way, he would kill two birds with one stone.

Celaes glances down and notices the boy directly below her. She silently scales down the tree so that she is only a few feet above his head. She crouches on the branch.
"You're a District 2 aren't you?"
She loads her bow and aims at him, just in case.
