ill be moving in with the fiance soon. but his realitor is being a horrible b***h so he may not have his piece of crap house sold for a while so i may have to move all the way over there instead of us getting a house thats close to my family

well i stay the night over there on weekends and i want to bring fluffers with me because he is the cat that will be moving out with me and the fiance has a cat of his own and we want them to get to know each other before the big move.

ive been having trouble finding a harness for him because he is such a big cat. i got a dog harness for him but he can slip out of it with some work.

basicly he is about 15-20lbs he isnt overweight and is a pretty buff cat who is flexable. what sort of harness would be best for him?

right now he hates the harness and just lays down so im leaving it on him during the day and tieing things to it to weigh it down just a little so he will get used to it

the reason i want him on a leash is he is a very shy cat and when he goes to a new place he will find a tight spot to hide for hours and i dont know if i would be able to get him out when its time to go home. my cat is very much a recluse and doesnt really like new people too much but he loved the fiance right away so hopefully he will like the other cat

I found a few decent ones for larger kitties.

And for kitties who don't like harness straps:

This one has a size for small dogs too, so it's sure have a size that'll fit a big kitty:

You might want to prepare a carrier and make it a safe place for him. I use two that my kitties sleep in every day (unless I'm sleeping too...then it's Pile on Lyca time). If they get scared, the carriers are the first place they go, so it's handy during emergencies. Sometimes they just need an enclosed, quiet space all their own.

You might want to introduce your kitties on neutral ground, or get them used to each other's scents first before putting them together. Many can be territorial and will want to protect their home.
