Guildies, Help!!

I am feeling quite melancholy lately, I think I need something to cheer myself up.
In fact I think the whole guild could use a spark to drive off the march blues.

Any ideas? I would very much like to get something started that could get the inactive members interested again.
We dropped the ball on the contests, I'll get to work on those.

Perhaps a role-play? I think that would cheer me right up. I've been thinking of starting one for a long while. The problem is, I have too many ideas! I need a base, so what would you all prefer?

-One with the old characters, or only otaku senshi? Or perhaps the old ones, revamped.
-Set on Earth, or another planet?
-What about timeline? What do you think of playing a senshi living in roman times? Medieval? Victorian? Futuristic?

Answer me those questions, and I'll get on it right away.

Yeahhh I think so too, theres a certain charm about that era that is irresistible.

ninja Something about the Roman/ancient world sounds interesting to me.

Me personally, I would like to have a character of my own design. I can never seem to play a character correctly if they have to fit into a pre-made setting/personality thing.

Coming up with new ones is so much more fun. Though the idea of redoing the originals is always interesting. They way Iiii would have done them is very different. razz I mean whyyy is there no rock one? Honestly...

Ouu so everyone is interested in the victorian or roman times.
Personally I love ancient greece and rome.

I think if that's the case, I might have it on an alternate planet. Unless I want to do the whole messing with time thing.

I say other planet. That way we have much more freedom. (time travel is confusing... even for me, whos own scouts jump time and space. xD)

Yeah, much more freedom.
Avoiding the confusing time hassle is probably the best course of action.
In that case, it'll probably take place in a completely different Galaxy. One that has only heard whispers of Galaxia and Sailor Moon.

I think I'll make it a planet that advanced magically instead of with technology. A mix of victorian and ancient greece type culture, with some fantasy twists.

In that case I think I'll chose the planet names, and available elements, and everyone else make up the rest.
I'll come up with some interesting fuku designs.

Alright, so I've narrowed it down to two ideas.

Both are going to take place on a planet in a completely different Galaxy. Like Earth, it supports life.

There will be 9 senshi, all living in the Queen's kingdom. It will have a culture that is a mix of victorian and ancient greek.

The "main" senshi will be the princess of the planet. There will be a knight character as well, engaged to the princess but neither of them are interested in each other.

I have a general idea of the plot, but the two ideas are as follows. Tell me which one you would most be interested in.

Mermaid
...still working on 3 more. Can't decide, but am too excited to wait to show you all.

Idea 2) Primordial Senshi
(Based off the first deities of Greek mythology, parents of the titans
Would be the Galaxy where Chaos was born, and driven out. Also the place of the very first Cauldron)

Sailor Pontos (Sea)

For #1
Hydra based scout... the mythological dragon of poison and many heads. Cause he was epic. (Can you guess whom I would play? xD)


For #2
I say skip out on Chronos.... For the following reason...
Make the prince be somehow connected to Kronos (or Cronus as I have seen a few times) The ancient king of the Titans. Then we can put in Rhea, his wife and queen of the titans, as the princess that is suposed to marry him but doesnt get along with him.

And if we have a Kronos(Cronus) and Chronos... it may get confusing at a 'quick' glance.

That is of course my opinion.... you can do what you want.
