I'm just trying to find a place to post a character I finally managed to roll up. If there is a thread, or sub-forum (I didn't see one) that we all post for our characters, I'd appreciate seeing it.

If we do that in the game sub-forums, I'm ******** over (pardon the language, but that's the only thing I can use to describe just how left I'm gonna be until the next thread shows up.) I'm bad at DMing, and I just watched the most recent 3.5e recruitment thread get snatched out of my hands.

So, this thread has two parts:

Is there a place we post our characters officially, and is there anyone who's doing a NORMAL 3.5 edition gaming right now that I can either jump into or just join right off the bat?

there's no one place for character posting. generally you post characters in the specific game they're in. Particularly if you rolled them, as the dice involved would likely be posted in the recruitment/character creation thread attached to the same game.

can't help you on the 3.5 front, not my edition.

Darn it...

I didn't use a dice rolling thread, I used the online dice roller (Rolled 4d6, dropped the lowest result, instant ability score). I got a bunch of 14's and 15's, and a 16 that I used for constitution, which is pretty much a balanced character. Then, since I made this guy as a 5th-level character, I added one point to his charisma score, still a 15 (since I had already made up the other stuff, and was originally making a third-level character, but decided against it since I thought everyone was at least five or above. This made upping the power a little easier for me, since I didn't have to recalculate a truckload of modifiers.) and put in all the other important stuff, saved it in my inbox for safe keeping, and then voila, I have a character.
