Play by AIM (Recruiting)

I see lots of threads here for play by post, but is anyone running one over an IM client? I prefer it to pbp, and If nobody else will run one, I will.

Here's the premise: A very, very evil campaign. These guys gleefully took a swan dive over the moral event horizon. Expect collateral damage, innocents dying, and inter-party conflict, of the fatal variety. I want a party of sociopaths.

Homebrew campaign world. D&D 3.5, starting level: 10
I'm not specifically banning any rulebooks, but I'm taking all characters on a case-by-case basis. Stats are 4d6 drop the lowest

There have been a few attempts to get such a game started.

Generally though, its the wide variety of schedules/time zones which interfere with that.

Well, I can switch to MSN no problem.MSN is infuriating me. Most likely operator failure, but I do not wish to fight with it any longer. However, I just noticed that Gaia has it's own IM service, why don't we use that?

As for Stupid Evil characters...you may need to work together (read: not kill each other too often) in order to not get mopped by those annoying adventurers and their "morals."

Also, world domination is not entirely out of the scope of this campaign...

I suppose that the Gaian IM could work, I'll have to try and formalize myself with it however. >< Never used it before.


Just out of curiousity, what were your problems with MSN?

It's Windows Live Messenger btw for the newest version, but yeah, what went wrong? I'm surprised to hear it wasn't working >.> Sort of, lawl @ Microsoft >.> Just kidding, but yeah...

I got my 'hands' on 4e books, but I'm not opposed to giving a go at 3.5.
