I introduced a few more friends to Firefly via a marathon a few days ago, it has re-peppered my language with shiny. It had tapered off a bit due to a period of not watching the show.

I probably would have stared at the guy awkwardly for a while, studied the hat, then gone home and made my own. I've been meaning to do it for a while now.

I use 'shiny' in my speech all the time, and lately I've been wanting to learn more gorram Chinese to swear in proper-like.
