Hey! Estrella site set up starts tomorrow! Anyone going this year? I'll be there, just not until Friday. I'll be camping with Wealhhnutu.

It's the big war with the Southwestern kingdoms. The big war with the Western kingdoms is An Tir/West War (or West/An Tir War, depending on where you're from).
I've got a plan. It goes like this:
2010 - Gulf Wars
2011 - Pennsic
2012 - An Tir/West
2013 - Lilies
2014 - ? (Maybe Estrella, but I don't have any family there and it's not close by, so I don't have any real excuses to go)
2015 - Start the cycle over, yippeeee!

I guess I thought it was bigger than the other wars. The way I hear it from people around here is that the only bigger war is Pennsic.

It's like that with every war, Keetabirdy. In the South, it's Gulf Wars; in the West, it's An Tir/West; in the Southwest it's Estrella; in the Widwest it's Lilies; in the East it's Pennsic. Pennsic is really only bigger than the others because it lasts twice as long, and -- I think, but may be wrong -- because it's older than the others.
I do hear lovely things about Estrella and might like to go someday, if my parents move to New Mexico for their retirement, thus giving me an excuse to visit that general area.
