A while back, Sanzo was looking for the thread listing favorite webcomics. Unfortunately, after a bit of digging, I was unable to find that thread. Hence, this thread To get things started, here is The Webcomic List, by ranking. Have fun. ...See you all in 3 or 4 monthsEDIT: Years... ^_^ Discussion: Your favorite webcomic Gamer comics vs. nerd comics vs. indy music comics vs. What the HELL??? comics Do you have your own webcomic? When does a comic cross over from being "just a comic" to a webcomic, if it's still being printed in newspapers?

Hehe, I'm scrolling down the list and every time I see one that I recognize/keep up with I do a mini-spaz (There was a bit of squeal in there too when I got to Awkward Zombie). Also, I thought Cyanide and Happiness would be a bit higher up =/ Huh.
Anyway, I don't pick favorites, but the ones I follow regularly (aka every update) are Cyanide and Happiness, xkcd, Red String, Surviving the World, Dr. McNinja, Awkward Zombie, Hark! A Vagrant, and Multiplex. They're fun~
I don't have a favorite kind of comic, but I feel my vote should go to nerd or gamer comics since I fall into those camps.
No I do not have my own webcomic because I am a talentless ********.
And that last one is actually pretty interesting. I would think that whether it's 'just a comic' or a webcomic depends on which medium it originated in, but I'm sure there are exceptions as there always are.

I threw that last in 'cause I noticed Bizarro on the list, and Zits and Peanuts, and Safe Havens... smile And that was not looking very hard! ^_^

biggrin Misfile is at 15. That makes me happy because I like seeing comics that I check all the time closer to the top. Other comics I'm glad are up there are Sinfest, MA3, Eerie Cuties, XKCD. I'm surprised SMBC, Nerf Now, and Sandra and Woo Aren't higher up though : /

"Curvy" is in there twice... So is XKCD (granted, one of them is labeled as "xckd.com").

I just bothered reading the first post—instead of simply skimming it—and realized that you were looking for a thread. If it's the thread I think it is, you couldn't find it because A) you weren't looking far enough back or B) you weren't looking for the right title. Anywho, I'll show you mine if you show me yours. wink I'll also take this opportunity to suggest that the old thread be locked, lest we end up with two active threads on the same topic. Le Gasp! Oh, and we might as well put one of them in the directory. Mehbeh?

AS per Tsuji's request/suggestion... This thread is now linked in the stickies under "popular" (not old enough to be "classic" yet), and since the old thread is linked on the first page of this thread, also per suggestion, it is now locked. smile

Just reacquainted myself with another favorite, Jeffbot, a semi-autobiographical comic about an actor-geek in LA. (It's a lot more fun than it sounds, and the cartoonist has a lovely line to his work)
